this number calls me repeatedly. even after business hours and on weekends.
Best thing about the new iphone update is you can block them!!!

Just so everyone knows (as there seems to be a fair few who don't) the do not call register does not stop charities or government organisation's from calling.

YEs I have been receiving daily calls from this number.
I answered it about 30 minutes ago and a guy with a New Zealand accent spoke and tried to get me to confirm my name, he claimed he was from the NSW RSPCA and then hung up.

I picked up once and they knew my name and claimed to be calling from THE CANCER COUNCIL in aus. i've seen some comments on here which point to other organisations so im going to say its a complete SCAM. i asked if they had an email facility to send me some information and he advised they did not but was happy to ask for financial details. I hung up on them but they continue to call back. If you have a samsung, add to the reject call list. otherwise, do not answer.

I keep getting calls from this number. They say they are from Amnesty International (who I am signed up with). The calls are so numerous I've put them on my reject list. My phone doesn't ring but I get sent a notification that they have called AGAIN.  I am seriously considering cancelling my subscription with Amnesty over this harassing behaviour.

Went through all messages. Seems to be anyone of a number of different charity organisations. As all charities have different phone numbers I'd say it's a scam.

Called a private number on 8/11/13 and 9/11/13 around 2:00 PM.

I am with telstra . I have phone calls from this number for months, sometimes twice a day. How to find out who is calling and why?

I have been receiving calls from them for a week now (with the same results as all of you) and I never give my number out....

I keep on getting somebody on this number ringing me on my mobile. I don't know who they are; but they should stop ringing me. I never answer any numbers that I don't recognise.

The australian do not call register is only applicable for telemarketers and people trying to sell you things. As such, charity organisations are exempt from this.

I thought it might be someone trying to get money so I haven't answered it.  I was doing something quite ordinary when I was asked to complete a questionnaire, it went on and on about all sorts of things and a few days later Amnesty International rang and said I'd expressed an interest in finding out about them.  Of course they wanted a donation, actually these days none of them want a donation they want you to commit to ongoing payments!!!  Lesson here DO NOT GO ANYWHERE ONLINE where you might win something!

So sick of it my daughter answered asked who rattle name that fast she even now who sick of this number ringing ever day (07)36060800... just doesn't stop trying to drag money i don't have or be rude knows my name i don't know how either

This number has called me every day the last few weeks but call doesn't come through. They have even tried my mobile but the call failed again. When i tried to call them the call failed as well.

I think it is Oxfam.

Called twice in the last week.  I answered, they said nothing and hung up.
