- Gaurdian Angel replies to Anonym| 3 repliesReply to Oh [***] ..... The Green INK he has hand written his so called discounts in . Well this explains quite a bit. Write anything in green pen then photocopy it .You will discover it will not copy at all unless you really darken the image way down on the photocopier.Try it for yourself and you see what I am talking about. All you girls need to get together and confront him on one of those Current affairs shows run by Channel 9 or 7 .This may generate enough interest to have him investigated. In South Australia his real name was Wayne Kerslake He changed it to Wayne Jaye.....Wayne worked for Pixie Photos then started a Studio up in Adelaide called it Studio Silva on Sturt street just behind West Tce . Various people had much the same issues you are experiencing. He left Adelaide and Started a studio under the name of Epatant in Queensland.
My advice is if you have signed one his contracts have it checked out by a legal adviser Immediately - scared and worried replies to Gaurdian Angel| 2 repliesWow my discounts are in green inc too.... does that mean the discounts aren't really there and if I leave the agency before my contract is over I don't need to pay the discounts .... as there aren't really any???
- Anonym| 1 replyIn 2009 early 2010 I went into debt for him so i could learn fashion posing, and shot a lot of you girls as your trial run for the Agency. I unfortunatly took 12mths to learn my leson as he kept asking for money for my "training"
I am a professional Wedding photographer and If you girls want your photos re done or a copy of the ones i took please let me know as I will gladly pass these on. info@mooreproductions.com.au
I too would like my images removed from his site..
he is also using your photos in his own personal site http://www.waynejaye.com.au- Caller: 0738467555
- :PYour never going to see any work, discounts, money, pictures.... It's just not going to happen. Your going to have to trust me on this one... Wayne Jaye is a piece of work.

- Gaurdian Angel replies to scared and worried| 1 replyWorried and Scared ...Legal documents must be written in Black or Blue pen.His contracts don't hold any water. Tell him where to go and that you will take him to court. Believe me ... He will not want that.
He owes so many people money its not funny. He resides in Queensland . I'm waiting until he returns to this state . The trouble is laws are different in each state which makes it difficult to get him. He lives on the pockets of hard earned money of others and also has been known to live at friends and family houses for weeks on end. Including his place of work. In Queensland I believe he now rents. On all your hard earned cash of course. My hands are tied at this point. You all can bring him to justice in Sunny Queensland and put an end to his lavish life style . That would be reward for me knowing he has been prosecuted and even sent to goal to reflect on his actions. Please Please do not give him one red cent and report to the Queensland authorities his activities. - The Scene replies to Gaurdian AngelUnfortunately, this is still dragging on! Guess what everyone? He has a new Agency Manager "Anna Wojcik". I'm afraid that he's going to do exactly what he's done to the rest of us and scam us out of our hard earned money and our precious time.
Anna, if you are reading this - be smart and get as far away from epatant as you can, don't fall for his pity party. Any agency that goes through 4 managers in a year is one to be very very wary of. Let alone an agency who posts a job ad (for managing the agency) on FACEBOOK? Seriously - Wayne "Jaye" is as classless and cheap as epatants reputation. OPEN YOUR EYES PEOPLE. I've met half of these people in person to offer advice to those who have had bad encounters. It's only a matter of time before he is exposed in QLD. Let's just say, right now his every move is being watched - closely.
Anna, taking money from naive and gullible young models (and their parents) is WRONG. Do not become involved with this blatant crime. Real modelling agencies DO NOT CHARGE. They DON'T have to, because they EARN money through COMMISSIONS. Wayne Jaye's photos are worth JACK [***] in a portfolio. One of his models told me that a well known casting agent actually pulled them out of her portfolio and tore them up because they were so bad. If you want a picture at your local park or in some creeps garage, by all means go ahead with epatant - because that is all you will get. Epatant, does not even have offices. Wayne Jaye runs epatant out of his dodgy share apartment that he shares with fellow headcases - which is supplied (cheaply) by the hospital. EPATANT is NOT at LIGHTSPACE - as indicated on the website. Feel free to call lightspace up and find out for yourself - they kicked the Agency out due to his reputation in the industry.
I cannot even count how many of you I warned in the beginning and how very few believed what I had to say... But I believe you had to learn your lesson the hard way - and I'm sorry that it was the only way that helped you to see the truth. - Truth replies to deleted post| 3 replieswow, you must know him alot, I got ripped off with him big time, should i go to the police? It was way over $3000, but on the other hand he never gave me recipents, only for one. He was such a creep, I was young at the time, seriously how can people fall for him, he works at a house, and takes photos in a garge, when i first met him i knew he was a scam just by looking at him, but then he tricked me :/
Apparently he is working a ashala, use to be called DNA. And the people there are creeps to, wayne and this guy made 3 girls undress themselves out of their clothes into a bikini, how sick can anyone get, and they say they see it all the time, its called being professional. - Guardian Angel replies to TruthTo the Scene and Truth.... These issues with Wayne Jaye (Birth name Kerslake) You are now experiencing must be reported the Police .They will then investigate his activities involving fraud.
These girls made or Coerced into removing their clothing in front of him and others is totally inappropriate as change rooms should be provided. If you know these girls or can contact them .Have them report Waynes activities to the Police. Tell them do not be afraid ....Wayne was prosecuted for sexual harassment of an employee in South Australia.
Unless you all make reports or statements . He will continue to rip others off. So after reading this go down to your local Police station or seek legal advice and get that ball rolling. Don't hesitate .
Contact the Taxation department and notify them of his activities.

I had an interview with a man and Anna last week in a dodgy unit in Annerley because they are 'in the process of relocating to a new office.' I can't believe what I'm reading. I haven't paid anything or signed anything as I don't have the money and thought the prices were out of this world expensive.
The only thing is I forget the name of the man but he had blonde hair and I think he was wearing black glasses. Is this Wayne Jaye that you are all talking about? They took 'test shoots' of me and from what I'm reading I'm disgusted. I felt very critisised and embarassed by him, he was almost intimidating. Although like most of you, assured me I had 'what it took' etc.
Anyway if anybody can confirm that this man was Wayne that'd be great! (I never listen to peoples name when I introduce myself - bad habit) Good work on making people aware of this, I am so glad I have come across this! - victim replies to Smudge91Yes, thats give.
check his pursonal wedsite: http://www.waynejaye.com.au/#!
2011 date down in the bottom. his new way to rip people off! cant believe he still running his business!!!! - Charlie| 2 repliesThe only office they've relocated to in the time I've known Wayne was the one I had to pay for out of my own pocket at Lightspace, which he got kicked out of because of all the complaints about Wayne. I lost several thousands of dollars which I was supposed to be paid back in wages. Then he had cheek to try and claim the bond - which I had paid for. Of course I was never paid for anything for my 8 months worth of effort - guess I was just to nice and trusting like the other people who have fallen prey to a "sick man". I've filed reports to the police and he is currently under investigation for fraudulent dealings. He's all talk. He had no bookers or other staff at the time bar from some drug raddled bogan called Caitie and her stoner lowlife boyfriend (both of whom I only met once in the time I was there), I doubt there is anyone else bar from Anna right now.
The only advice I can give to new models who are attending a meeting with any new agency is:
1. Ask yourself - do they have a legitimate office space? Where are they conducting meetings? If they are asking to meet you at:
1. A residential address, 2. A church hall or other rent by hour building or structure, 3. A coffee shop, 4. Mcdonalds or similar, 5. Any other place that is not a workplace address... then 9 times out of 10 you can be guaranteed that this is not an Agency you want to work under, invest money into or have your name associated with. If you do, then kiss your reputation in the modelling industry goodbye.
If they do invite you into their workspace, have a look around. Is the decor cheap? Is the Agency situated in a dingy neighbourhood that has cheap rent? If so, do not bother with them. Good Agencies, earn a lot of money and can afford luxe furnishings. It's all about first impressions, clients come to Agencies to book models so the Agency will always have the finest designer furniture to impress those clients.
2. Ask the interviewer to list 10 of the clients which they have booked work for in the last month. Bring a pen and notepad to take note of these clients - do your research!! Call the client up and ask them if theyve booked models from that agency in the past month. Do not believe everything that you are told as there are many scam agencies who will lie to get you to fork out the denaro.
3. Ask the interviewer to list 5 of the Agencies sponsors - there are always sponsors. Sponsors can include plastic surgery offices, makeup companies, hair salons, beauty services etc....
4. Ask the interviewer what their background in the industry is and what the Managing Directors history in the industry is. A good Agency has nothing to hide.
5. Do your research. How long has the Agency been around for? Does it have any other interstate locations? How long has it been operating for? etc
6. Ask the interviewer about runway classes the agency has to offer. Ask what qualifications the instructor has. A good agency most often will not hire an instructor who does not have over 5 years international grade experience in modelling. More often than not the instructor will be a well known model.
7. Find out who the Agencies in-house photographer is. Do your research, do you like the photos? Compare the photos to your favorite fashion magazine. Do they look to the same standard? If not... run!
7. Finally, look at the interviewer. Is he/she well presented? Agencies pride themselves on good presentation - it is an image obsessed industry after all.
Theres much more, but I couldn't be bothered - if your looking at this page. It is probably too late, and you are already a victim. If not, be very very careful and pay attention to my advice.
It is up to you if you want to be represented with epatant, and if you do decide to go ahead with it be open enough to accept a year of upset and consequence. Also, be very careful with Wayne. If you are under 18 - do not let him shoot you topless. If he asks and is being forceful/persistent, tell him to get signed parental consent that states that if your contract is terminated, that all images and negatives from the shoot will be destroyed and agency ownership forfeited, as well as that the parent must agree to what shots go up on the epatant webpage publically. He's been known to exploit embarrassing photographs of girls on his personal photography website as well as his facebook after they have left the Agency as a revenge mechanism.
Just be careful.- Caller: epatant models brisbane
- Rob replies to Charlie| 1 replyWould suggest you report to the police, he is known to them from other non related cases - talk to the detectives at Fortitude Valley Police
- Charlie replies to RobWill do, thanks Rob! :)
- BystanderHey guys, one of my good friends was nabbed by this scammer a little while ago. I implore EACH AND EVERY ONE OF YOU who have paid money to Epatant and not received the services promised under the contract and who fell victim to his false and misleading representations as to the services to be offered, your chances of work and the number of clients he was affiliated with...to MAKE A COMPLAINT TO THE DEPARTMENT OF FAIR TRADING.
Someone up above had the right idea, and they said that the dept. informed her that they could do nothing.
This company is voluntarily breaching the law. In particular, they wrongfully accept payment for goods or services if they do not intend to supply them, or if they cannot supply them in a timely manner. E.g. they say they will supply a service, i.e. train you to be a model, but don't follow through with the courses; they say they will provide you with a portfolio and comp cards, but they do not; they say they will easily provide you with work and that they have many clients whom would like to work with you, but these clients do not exist.
Furthermore, they willingly make false and misleading representations as to the services they will provide you and your prospective employment opportunities.
Despite their flagrant inability to follow through on their promises, they continue to operate as a company and continue to take monetary payment from prospective models but fail to provide their portion of the contractual consideration.
Make enough complaints and the Dept of Fair Trading will take action.
This is where you can go to lodge a complaint:
http://www.fairtrading.qld.gov.au/online-complaint-form.htm
When it comes to banding together to lodge a complaint, the more the merrier! Make sure you are specific. When did you sign your contract? What was promised? What was and wasn't delivered on? When did you contact them to address the issue? You want to have contacted Epatant first to try to resolve the issue (or, at least, attempted to contact Epatant) before contacting Fair Trading Qld.
If you feel so inclined, you can try contacting the ACCC instead, on the same basis.
http://www.accc.gov.au/content/maintain/creat ... rl=.&type=Other
If you want to take them to QCAT (Qld Civil and Administrative Tribunal, formerly the Small Claims Tribunal) you have SIX YEARS in which to do so (from the commencement of your cause of action, i.e. when Epatant failed to deliver on their part of the contract). It costs you next to nothing, but will be a waste of your time if he has no money. You can't get money from a bankrupt any more than you can get blood from a stone.
Have a chat to Legal Aid QLD if you want a more informed opinion on where you can go from here.
My main point is: don't sit here and whinge about being screwed over, go out there and fight the good fight! People might read this and decide not to join...but even more people will be prevented from joining this scam if you help shut him down altogether! I'd do it myself, but I wasn't a victim. My friend is pursuing it further, though, and I'd encourage you to do the same.
Good luck, guys, and don't feel crappy for having been taken for a ride - guys like this have lots and lots of practice manipulating people. The best of us can get caught out. Time to catch him out, don't you think? - SaraWow, I didnt realise my comment here in 2009 would get such a response. I found his name on some bipolar website the other day as a 'fabulous photographer' or whatever, and thought Id re-search him. Not glad to see how many other lives hes ruined but glad to see the word is getting out. I agree with the posts here too - report him to every authority you can think of. Im sure they all know his name by now. Your report could be the final piece of proof they need to stop all his hurtful illegal activities for good.
- Caller: epatant model management
- finally replies to unknownIn the end I didn't have to submit my claim as he took the photos down before it reached that far. I was ready to go with it though - my advice would be stick to your guns and go for it. If enough people complain about him (Again!) legal action will have to be taken.
- REPORT IT| 2 repliesOh my god girls I have been reading all your messages! I was going to go to this agency but thank god for this website! All of you need to seriously consider contacting ACA or Today Tonight so they can do a story on this scum bag and make girls more aware. I was recommended by a friend who thought this would have been a good opportunity for me.

I have just discovered ...Wayne is on a shoot in South Australia ( May/ June 2011) Currently my Information is a couple of days old. Its now June 2nd ,He may well have flown back to Queensland. If any one reads this in South Australia please lets us know where he is camped. Then I can let the authorities know. - Rob| 3 repliesCheck out his Blogspot http://waynejaye.blogspot.com/ a bit of his history in that and very one sided his way, def get ACA on board girls
- gorgeous one replies to defamationWayne Jaye is a f*ck head. I live in Adelaide and paid him $900 in June 2005 to have professional photography taken (comp card). He took my money (and others) and ran away back to QLD! I tried calling him NUMEROUS times and he never answered his phone. Then oneday, I tried calling again, and the phone number had beed disconnected. I also went to the premises where his modelling agency was, and found legal notices stuck to the door. His landlord was suing him for unpaid rent. He is a total scam artist and karma will get him oneday. BTW 'defamation' DO NOT TAKE OTHER PEOPLE'S MONEY UNLESS YOU ARE GOING TO PROVIDE THE SERVICE THEY PAID FOR!
