calles me on a daily basis, when answered no one at other end, very inconvenient at times and becoming annoying.   I have my name and number registered with the governments site " DO NOT RING" so its now a prosecutable offence if identified.   All we need is to locate this pest and they will be reported.

Im now on here for 2 different numbers. I am receiving these calls daily and it is annoying usually twice a day. Is there anyway to block them??

I can't believe how many other people are as annoyed as I am at this number calling. They have been calling me for months, sometimes a few times a day, just like other people have said on here. Sometimes there's a break for a few weeks and then it starts again. I usually ignore it, or sometimes answer but say nothing.

These calls started happening on my mobile and my landline after I was scammed by MBcontact.com and I had complained to my banking institution about them; after which I recieved a refund.  Looked up the number and appeared to be associated with the company that scammed me!

Have any of you actually tried to call the 1800807097???

Nearly every week day morning...Grrr driving me nuts.  Rings, I answer and nothing comes from other end.

Its just started for me. I better not have to deal with this crap....

I just received a call from this number purporting that I had provided my number to "Wyndham Vacation Resorts" - which I have never done. I don't use this mobile number for competitions - I have a prepaid number for those things. They then proceeded to tell me I won either an MP3 player or, a Boom Box or, 5mp Camera or, $1000 voucher to use at Wyndham Vacation Resorts.

Whilst I was on the phone I googled "Wyndham Vacation Resorts" which looks like a timeshare scam

All I can say is that it's a scam & from now on that phone number has been saved in my mobile's automatic reject list! (if they are calling on your mobile, most handsets allow you to put calls on an auto blacklist - I suggest you add it)

OMG - do these people piss me off or what i can't believe that they ring every day. when i come home from work i have at least 3 missed calls from them. today they told my daughter they were from queensland

I continuously have calls from this number - just yesterday I had 5 from early afternoon to late evening AND I'M ON THE 'DO NOT CALL LIST'!!

My father-in-law has been getting heaps of these calls also. In his terms '[***] annoying'. I gave him the 1800 807 097 number to try and stop the calls. Good luck to you.

I've just spoken to a woman on the 1800 807 097 (Wyndham Vacation) after an onslaught of calls over past few days - and told them to remove my number from their database (seemed to know what my request would be before asking - I wonder why? - LOL).  

We'll see if it actually happens!!!!!!!

Ive's just had a first call and thanks to everyone here I will reject their calls now I know who they are

I have been receiving calls from this number on & off for about 6 months. when the calls start again it's around 3 times a day for about a week then they stop only to start again a few weeks later. The only time I answered there was no response... Never leave a message.
I don't answer thenm anymore. How can I stop them??? How did they get my number?

If you read the earlier postings (incl. mine) you'll see that it's Wyndham Vacation Resorts Asia Pacific on the Gold Coast, hence the 07 55 number.  They just want to sell you time share holidays.  By the accents, the call centre is in India, but I did have some female Australian voices as well and I never ever answered.  They seem to get their info from entries to draws at shopping centres, but that's not how I got involved; I just don't know.  My mobile was plagued for weeks up to seven times a day.  Two things to do: (1) Go to the Do Not Call Register at www.donotcall.gov.au and register your number(s).  If the pests ignore this, report them and the C'wealth can lean on them heavily, including fines; (2) Send an e-mail to customerservices@wyndhamvrap.com, as I did (keep it polite!) telling them how you make up your own mind about where you go on holiday and telling them to desist, or you'll report them to the Do Not Call Register. That worked like a charm for me: nothing for months.  Of course the real answer is for the Commonwealth to enact legislation with really sharp teeth to control these serial nuisances.  Good luck!
