I've  logged a complaint at http://www.adviceguide.org.uk I suggest you all do the same to get this sorted.

Has anyone heard of DBF Law Uk, they have written and e mailed me on the Sunday of August Bank holiday weekend and threatened to have a debt collector on my door within 10 minutes,.  They say they are the largest debt recovery agency in England but I have reason to believe that they are part of Studio 31 who have scammed hundreds of pounds out of me this year.  We paid what they said we owed and then I registered with TAPA and they told us to claim it back as it was a con.  They have now contacted me and said they are taking me to court and the amount has doubled.  The man  who spoke to me is called John Roberts.  Am now in contact with an investigative programme on Sunday evenings on Radio 5 live.  Who are investigating the whole company scamming and Tapa.  Will be broadcast next Sunday 21st October.

There is a company that uses that name www.dbf-law.co.uk but they cannot send bailiffs to your address without a CCJ against you which they don't have at this stage.

If they phone again they will ask you a series of questions at the beginning of the call such as date of birth etc. Just refuse to answer those questions and then they cannot talk to you any more because they can't identify you under the DPA.

Of course, they may sue but they will not get any more than the sum of the contract plus court costs. They won't be allowed to add their debt collection costs in the way they are attempting to do.

I have had the misfortune to be contacted by Tradesman Tracker. Their ceo, Anthony Simister . Very sinister looking from his pics. They are chasing me for money for an alleged verbal contract over the phone. Can anybody advise me please?

Read through some of the posts here to see just what a piece of c**p this person is.   Report him to Trading Standards and Action Fraud and tell him to take a running jump if he 'phones again.  See if you can find out if he is a Director of this company as he is disqualified from being a Director until March this year so he could be opersting illegally.  If you can confirm he is a Director then report him to the Financial Conduct Authority.

‘Lauren Jones’ calling from the collections department of ‘Morton Designs’ (who have no online presence at all) claiming unless I pay for an advert that doesn’t exist in a publication that also has no online presence at all they will take me to court.
