Trading standards advice is that they have to proove they have provided you all the information that is required and also that they have provided a service to you if it went to court. They told us to ignore all requests to pay as they are just threatening you to get what they want. If it went to court and you could prove that they didnt send you anything or provided you with a service you should be OK. This is their way of working to make you pay so they get what they want.

Report it to the police and also tranding standards in your area as they are already on their internal system.

    Good luck

Please, nobody pay them a penny and just ignore them, they will try on lots of different numbers which tells you something straight away!
If they call, as soon as they say who they are, put the phone down and save the number to your phone and save the contact as DO NOT ANSWER!! this way you'll have a collection of all the numbers they are using and your phone bill will give the days and times they have called. In the unlikely event that you end up in court, show the judge all the info together with their own terms and conditions which states that they will give you notice prior to withdrawing money at the renewal. It's alright them saying that they have but they must prove it.
But - it won't happen!, the guy that fronts it is a crook and that's on the public record

Don't lose sleep over it, anyone, please

    Good luck

Hi, I have had the same thing happen to me. I am being told i have entered a 12 month contract with them and if I don't pay then they will take this further by involving a solicitor. They have sent me a recording of the initial phone call when I was offered a 30 day free trial but I rang up the next day and sent a letter to cancel the contract which of course they deny.

Has anyone actually been taken to court by this company yet? I really can't see how they these scam artists can actually make anything stand up in court. Any feedback would be much appreciated. Thanks

Do not pay them anything. They will threaten and threaten you but will eventually give up and move onto someone else. If they were to take you to court they have to prove they have provided you with a service which they wont be able to. I am surprised that you even got the recording from them as they refused to give us this. I bet if you look on their website you are not even listed on there as well, keep screen shots. You should also have copies of all correspondence that you send to them and also receive from them. They will more than likely send you a dodgy letter confirming they will take you to court but there will be no contact details, address etc on the letter. It will also look really dodgy as in a photocopy and then another copy will be sent via recorded delivery. Also bewarned that their VAT number relates to their other dodgy company called TAPA (THE ADVERTISING PROTECTION AGENCY). The director Anthony Simister is also banned from trading so he is not going to take you to court in these circumstances.

In the meantime I would contact your local trading standards as they are already registered on TS internal system and register a complaint with them.

This is a scam company and TS are aware of this fact but cant track them due to no official address as they only have a forwarding address.

Nice to hear, I am having exactly the same problem with them.
Everything has been verbal and nothing written.
They have now told me that they will take me to court.
They reckon I owe them £395.00 for services I have never benefited from

If you ignore them you wont hear back from them. Unless they can provide all the relevant evidence they wont have a case in court.

Yes I am having problems now with tradesmen Tracker. Joined 2012 Feb. Forgot about the roll over contact.  Then had a call in Feb 2014 asking why I have not paid.  I told them not happy they waited two years to get in touch. They said they did not need to. Now I had a phone call from a debt company called Product saying if I did not pay that day I would have to go to court and face other charges. I would have paid one year but not now the £400 plus.

I had the same problem with Tradesmen Tracker last year, they would phone me out of the blue, usually at the weekends or on a bank holiday. I just never got in to a conversation with them as they just keep saying the same threatening legal action [***].
As soon as they mentioned they were from / representing Tradesmen Tracker I would just respond with "it's in the hands of my company solicitor" (I never had a solicitor) and then just hung up the phone before they said another word!!!. I then would saved that phone number to my iphone under tradesmen tracker and went in to my settings to blocked all calls from them. I've ignored every photocopied looking letter they've sent me.

I haven't heard anything off them since last October and don't think I will again, if I do I'll do exactly the same.
They just try and extort money off people and threaten them with legal action and high costs but never follow through with court action. They go so far until they hit a brick wall, then move on to someone else.

    Don't pay them a penny.

Signed up in Feb 2012 with this lot.  Have not heard from them since. Told they would call 2 days before renewal, but this never happened. I honestly thought they had packed up as no contact came from at . No email, calls, invoices etc. Last night I had a call from a debt collector saying I had until 5.00pm to settle the outstanding debt. The end of this call was at 4.50pm so I had ten minuets to make a decision. Rang the company to sort out the problem. I was told they had sent me 18 emails over the last 2 years and made 4 phone calls, none of which I received.  I asked why they had not left a message on answer phone so I could call them back and was told they are not allowed to leave messages as people who do not pay will them block their calls! They gave me date and time of last call and after checking my diary today I now know the call never happened.  They are liars and cheats and must be avoided. Unfortunately I paid up. The first time in 30 years I've been conned!  Monday morning will be spent on the phone to my bank, solicitor and trading standards.

We have had the same this week. Initial contact in Feb 12 with a follow up call last April telling us we were due two years of payment. They were told to sling their hook as we told they would contact us 2 days before next payment due and if they had done so we would have cancelled as we got no work from it. As a busy small company we dont have time to keep track of such nonsense and assumed since there was no call the service was cancelled. Said they had sent several emails which they hadnt and called - all lies.

The guy on the phone was threatening and abusive.  After hanging up we received an email  with an invoice through Paypal. Which we ignored.

Call yesterday from Prodebt telling us that unless we settled the outstanding balance they would start court proceedings at 5pm.

    They are just awful!

If you look at the website for the Prodebt the website was only created in 2015 so it is more than likely they are the same people. Just ignore everything from them and let them get on with it because the con artists will do what they can to get money fraudulently from people. This mob have several dodgy companies.

We were called yesterday from a company called pro debt. They are demanding that if we dont pay the sum of £450 by 5pm this evening, they will take us to court! This is from a tradesman tracker ap which was taken out in Jan 2012!!!! Nothing from it at all, zip, not even one phone call and therefore we would never renew, but apparently it is a rolling contract. Tradesman tracker claim they have sent us 18 e-mails. I have recieved nothing!! No invoices, no emails and no telephone voicemails. How are you supposed to pay something you have not been invoiced for????????
Tradesman tracker and pro debt are very rude on the phone. When I told Trademan tracker that I had reported them to Trading Standards, they put the phone down!!!!
Has anyone else on here heard anything more from pro debt from there initial call? Do I pay, or should I stand my ground?
    Please someone help me.

Don't pay them a penny! They are fraudsters and nothing else.
If you get a phone call save the number to your phone so that it comes up with don't answer

Unfortunately, every time someone does pay up, it just supports the conn!

The subject of the call itself should give you a clue, a telephone call at 4.50 saying you have until 5.00 to pay up - really? What judge is ever going to be sympathetic to this kind of intimidation. Just say, see you in court and hang up

    Good luck
