I had three missed calls from this number when i was in work. Answered one on my lunch hour and they said they were Stone Bridge Insurance. Funny, i remember that name from previous calls i've had wherein i have asked them to remove my name from the database!!

The idiots phoned me today at around 8.45am when I was in bed, then again while I was making lunch. So I was waiting on some pasta so I thought I would waste their time and pretend that I was interested. So the calls gone on for about 15 minutes and i'm saying yes to 'if i want this or if i want that' then when I figure my pastas done I call the guy a tw@ and hang up the phone.

I hate 0800 numbers. All of them.

OMG THEY CALLED ME YESTERDAY EVERY 5 MINUTES FOR HALF AN HOUR BUT EVERYTIME I ANSWERED THEY HUNG UP?!! HOW IS THIS FAIR?! ITS HARRASSMENT!! HAVE SINCE CALLED 08445443503 TO GET MY NUMBER REMOVED! ABSOLUTE [***]!!!

I WAS getting calls from 08000445262 ( Stonebridge insurance company ) BUT my clever little Toco lite phone has barred them ! Go into your setting on the phone and ADD ANY NUMBER you don't like  . .  It's stops them dead and will never bother you again  LOL peace at last GOOD LUCK EVERYONE :)

Bains & Ernst Debt Company, They said that contract was finished on 30th November 2009, so on 1st December, cancelled standing order, now they keep phoning and sending leters saying I still got to pay even tho debt is cleared. Yeah Right, learned my lesson, wont use Debt Consolidation EVER again

Nuisance call that I don't answer. Just wish they would stop.

I've had a few calls from this number. I have a brand new line and no one has the number, not even family & friends yet. Because no one has the number I answered saying "hello Scotland Yard", a Scottish accent lady asked to be speak to someone by their christian and surname. I repeated that they called scotland yard lol, and they said they realized that but that the number was given as a contact number for a Credit Card (they didn't say whether it was a credit card ACCOUNT or APPLICATION). I pointed out that the person they are trying to call must have made up a random contact number and they agreed to delete it from their systems.
Going by what i've read on this number it would appear it's a call centre working for a number of different companies

had that number to and if i remember correctly they rung ages ago to saying it wsa lilwoods and it sounded like they were in a pub ... im thinkin if we all gettin it and there saying dif companys it must me a fraudster maybe :s

I've had the same number and i think the same person phone me offering me insurance on my British gas and then another stating it was for something to do with my Natwest Credit Card... I have never used my credit card, so how do they know I have one???? My advice would be don't answer the call.

I really, really wish they'd leave me alone - the calls started six weeks ago about once a day, now they're calling between four and six times a day, sometimes twice in the same 10 minutes and even on weekends.  I've tried telling them I'm not interested, ignoring the calls, answering and hanging up and even telling them they have the wrong number when they ask for me by name - but still they call.  I've reported them to TPS as I'm registered with them but still they call!!

Keep getting calls from this number and all these calls are supposed to be blocked I am getting fed up as it was 9pm tonight when they phoned these unsolicited calls are just not on  they did not even identify themselves

2 calls today.  Will these people never learn.  I don't answer calls from numbers I DON'T KNOW!!! grrr, at least show the good grace and leave a message and identify yourself.  Or just STOP CALLING ME!

It's annoying.  Why are companies, or who ever the hell they are allowed to do this.  They are annoying, ignorant they could at least leave a message saying who they are or what they want.  I don't answer calls I do not know. why would I.  Phone companies are always telling us not to answer unknown callers.  

Do you know what grips me, you can be ex directory, have these types of calls on call bar but they still manage to get passed the system.  And so companies you give your number to because you are dealing with them sell the numbers on.  

Government needs to stop this.  Fed up with them. x

I'm TPS registered, ex-directory and no-one at all has this number except BT who gave the number to me, and I'm still getting calls from this number. I don't answer, but it is damn annoying.

I agree with Jan - government should ban all 08000 numbers. That would be one hell of a vote winner!

is stonebridge insurance owned by aegon..... one if biggest insurance companies worldwide...

i really enjoyed telling him how helpfull his companies call at 8pm at night was...suggest you all tell him too ..........then we can find some one else to tell untill they stop..

Very pleasant gentleman from Stonebridge International Insurance.  Sounded as if he was in a call centre.  Tried to sell me "fatal accident insurance".  I listened, but once he realised that life insurance wasn't appropriate for me, as I have no dependants, and can't afford it anyway, he excused himself and rang off. He wasn't at all pushy.

This number has been calling me at least twice daily for the last week or so, but I have been out each time.  However, when I did answer the phone, as I say, the person on the other end was polite and reasonable.

(He told me that he had been given my number by Kay's catalogue.  I am a customer of theirs),
