Door to door is far from good too - it's about time both were clamped down on and banned!! Here's to a peaceful, interruption free life!!

I am so glad we have an answerphone, we need it, do these people ever give up, it has got to twice a day now, even at 1950 Hrs. and 0740 Hrs. we never ever buy or do business with cold callers, surely the unanswered calls should tell them something. It is over a month now PLEASE STOP.  Why should we phone them to ask them to stop, and would thet anyway?

Call after call, day after day, never leave a message. Try to ring back and get an automated message.  Traced them as Littlewoods.  If I wanted to shop with them I would call them, so I ask them not to call me and after a month it all starts again.

This number is a sales call from stonebridge international insurance,  you can dial 0844 5443503 to have your number removed from their data base

Had 5 calls in one hour, I leave my answer phone on all the time so I think they gave up, they don't leave messages so can't be anything important.

Had a few silent calls, or instant hang-ups...

Reading through some of the replies below, the number 08445443503 cropped up a few times. I phoned this number, and it asked to input my number, and confirm I didn't want to receive any more calls from them.

last monday i contact them on the telephone as i  had lots lots marketing call from them from 08000445262 i explain that i was regestered with bt privicy and the telephone preference service i all so had all rejection service on my line after receving more calls from them i contacted bt had my number changed after over 4 years it then went x directory i couldrn beleave my ears when this call come in on friday 16th december to the x directy new number at 11:29am it was from 08000445262
i contacted them again and inform them my new number was x directery and had bt privicy and call rejection all so regestered with tps and that i was reporting them to trading standards in maidenhead to report them on Tel 01628683802 all so reporting them to the police in maidenhead

Im going to be hounest , i work for a call centre , were based in ayrshire and it deals with many diffrent companys like stonebridge and bt ect. were just dloing our jobs , we get a headset and phone people that come up in our screen , if they say they dont want / not interested we select a little box that says not interested dont call , but after 3 months the system refeshes and all the do not calls go back to call. The thing is , many faulk tick that little box ( or untick it ) depending on the way its worded and then its sold on to companys in files like stonebride to use your info to sell there product , its not the call centres fault , contact littlewoods / very.. ect and tell them you have changed your numer and give them a made up number , or tell them to stop selling your details. I have faull swearing at me every day and u no what , dont bother us , we dont work on sales pay we get our wge and were out , so keep that in mind when u get a call. Its most your faults for not reading the small prrint

And also to add. Over 60% of our calls are checked by qualitly control , we do not hard sell , we stick to the strick guide lines , we work with Ofcom to make sure we work alongside the rules , not going to lie but some occasions faulk mess up and sound like there hard selling , there not , its more than there jobs worth to mess up. Every sales that goes thro is also checked and if the customer sounds threatend or sounds like they take it out just cause there scared to say no , we phone them up a couple of days later to ask if they are still ok to procced with the sale , and if they explain there not , then we cancle it.

If your spelling was correct I would take your word more seriously, however I don't, as it looks like a 5 year old kid has written this post.

I've been phoned by them every couple of days for weeks and I have ignored.
I answered today and it was Stonebridge Insurance offering me a personal injury claim.
They got my details as I am a VERY customer.
