Got a call straight away asking D O B

It is genuine caller child maintenance service now run by dwp.

CSA - Genuine call. Confirmed details from a letter sent by the director to employee. Just checking employee status within the company

Had this number ring me this morning. As soon as I heard child services I was confused as to how they obtained my new number but my maiden name still. They haven't had any contact with me since 2010 and I didn't even pass my own security so they are sending me out a letter

They called our company it is to see if an employee is working there

This is the child maintenance service. The number is on the website. They can't discuss cases without vetting. A lot of people here seem to be in denial about owing their children money.

This is CSA/CMS if you refuse details over the phone you get a letter once you receive the letter you have a certain amount of time to respond if you do not respond they go through HMRC to see your exact income and if you are unwilling to voluntarily pay for child support it will get taken directly from your wages from your employer. this can also be backed paid to the mother on some occassions so the longer and more uncompliant you are the more it will end up costing and if you still refuse to pay they can get enforncement by law.

Got a missed call don't know the number so didn't call back but if child support my kids are both grown up and live on their own and I still live with the same women I married and had the children with didn't mess around so must be a scam

It could have been because one of the employees isnt paying so they needed to get hold of the finance team to obtain money through his work

These are very very genuine and it's child maintenance service. If they call you its to do with tou owe money to your child or you made a claim for child maintenance

Hung up on the first call as he said he was from DWP, he called back explained it was child maintenance, then asked to take me through "security" I told him to write to me, he could be anyone, not taking any chances! If they are genuine they need to improve their "first impression" as I immediately became suspicious, I will not go through any security questions when anyone calls me...
