callled again 2 minutes of silence then hung up - prats.

same again today, 2 calls no message.

Complaint gone into ofcom and tps, also one gone to british gas.

After yet more calls the last few days, I spoke to customer complaints in person, they have now put into place a block on any marketing calls to my number, if you wish to do the same the free contact number is 0800 294 3124.

They reported it could take upto 2 weeks for the block to take place, and ignore all further calls.

We will see if that block actually works !!.

Basically the number is trying to sell you further products/services, or if like me, they are trying to convince you to stay with them if you are moving supplier.

Just got a call from this number (18.00), no one one the end of the line but could hear faint noise and after a few seconds they hung up. I wonder if its someone making up their call quoter without the bother of actually talking to someone?

THis number continually calls my mobile although I am registered not to recieve unsolicited calls> Sometimes up to 6 times a day.. for the past 2 weeks. If I answer the phone and anyone is there, they will regret ever callin me!

They accidenatally left me the weirdest voicemail

I have been receiving calls from this number twice a week even weekend.Thanks to all the messages I know now who it is.But How can I stop them to phone, i must admit it is very annoying.

The caller said he was from British Gas (who do supply my gas) and had found from their records that I had a pay as you go meter. As I have lived here well over 30 years and have never had to put money in the meter I rang off.

call the automated removal number on 0800 0724150 and leave your name.  you could also do what i just did and call 0800 0728632 dial # when the computer asks for your acc. number. speak to a complaints manager.  say you been getting calls and give them your number.  it could be that your number is opted in to marketing for some reason.  whatever; they say they will remove your number from marketing permanently and will give you a ref number should you need to follow it up. as with all corporate machinery, allow them 28 days to filter through.

British Gas. They used to call me at VERY regular intervals from 08009806929, eventually I asked them to remove me from their database. They've now started ringing me from this different number.

3 calls in 24 hours, no message. I wish they would stop!

I'm a uni student in my first year, living in halls of residence, i've never had to deal with british gas or any other gas company in my life and i have at least 1 or 2 missed calls off them a day (i leave my phone in my room most of the time and barely ever answer it) why the hell are they ringing me!?

These people called me yesterday and I said no thanks. But, 24hrs later they've tried again.

British Gas - well i believe and its my own opinion... they do not intend to leave you a message! as they are hoping you will call them back. that way they pocket the money depending if you call on your mobile,

don't answer the call!!! if it was important they would leave a message in the first place!!

this has nothing to do with whether or not you have been a British Gas customer. I have never given my current mobile as a contact for British Gas. It's just a pathetic attempt to claw back customer share from Npower

The answer is to get caller ID on your phone. [With my Virgin paskcage it only costs £2 a month].Then you can see it is this no. that is calling and ignore it. You can also ignore all those calls that say 'International' or 'Out of area'.

Same here, 3 and 4 times a day!! Never any message.. I refuse to answer or call them to stop them calling me!! Been going on 2 weeks now from half 7 in the morning till 11 at night! WHAT A LIBERTY! Happy Im no longer a BG customer! :-) Robbing b@%£&*ds anyway!

keep getting calls from this number up to 5 a day! always leave a silent voicemail which costs me money to listen to! getting very annoying now

They have called about 5 times and every time i've picked up they hang up almost immediately. No messages left...
