Someone very polite from orange apparently. Irish fella, asked him how he got my number and he said they buy it off a 3rd party.

I also keep being called by this number, its doing my head in, they call almost everyday but I dont answer simply because I dont answer numbers I dont know unless I'm expecting a call.
I googled the number and got this site.

An Irish guy called from 08009524874 caliming to be from Orange. I told him I didnt believe him he then put his 'Sales Manager' on to the line who insisted they were from Orange. Luckily, while all this was going on I googled the originating number (you gotta love handsfree) and found out who they were. So I asked him for his 'Dealer Reference' (a code given to all mobile phone resellers by the Networks) to which he replied its 015, I said 'oh yes, LBM Marketing (got the company name from this site), weve been warned about you guys, youre actually speaking to someone who works for Orange in the Directors Office'. The poor guy went silent and didnt know what to say or do, after a few seconds of silence he then sheepishly apologised and hung up.

You gotta hate these Parasites!!

i have just been called by this number i didnt answer but decided to look it up they have called me alot in the pst aswell, good job it was on my old phone

For the last 3 days I have been receiving a call from this number at 3pm and also once at 8pm. I have been having another number call me beginning with 0161 which I looked up on here too. I don't know if they are linked but I know not to answer.

I was just wondering if everyone on here is on Orange, I wonder if that is how they got our numbers?

i have just had a call from 08009524854 also been recieving calls from 01613800062 im on vodafone.

been getting lots of calls of them, i answered 2day and a lady said she was calling from orange, so i challenged her on that, i said no you dont work for orange and she said "oh,, why do you say that?"
i told her she worked for a company called lbm and to remove my number from the list or i would report them. i then hung up as she was in the middle of trying to explain..

just had ANOTHER!! Call from 08009524854 dont these people give up. they also used this 01613800072 they clam they are orange... i'm with o2 so I have no time for them. If I want something I'll ring you.

I had a call from this number at just before 3 pm and didn't answer. Now I wonder if they'll be calling again! I'm with o2.

thank goodnes i looked up this site...they have been calling me twice a day..have never answerd.
has anyone found out how to stop it? i dont get it, if they are just hanging up / being silent then whats the point in this???

Hi, on my phone I can add the number to a reject list so I don't get there calls, it just says missed call now. Makes my life much happier!
My phone is a samsung so most other models should have the same feature.

Im with orange, they have just called me - 08009524854. Didnt answer as I never do with number I dont know! Then Googled it and this site came up, if they call again, I will let you know.

i just had a call from 08009524854, I answered and they hung up on me! which is why I decided to look it up. I see I'm in good company, has anyone ever actually found out who they are?

I had a call yesterday saying that they were on teh behalf of Orange offering me a great deal.  This number cam after I had a call from 0161 380 0125./  On the O800 number, you cannot make calls and on the 0161 no they say that they will call you back. I called Orange who siad that my offer did not exist and that they have no such number on their system.

I am going to place a coampliant with Orange later for them to address.  Apprantly this comapny gets numbers form a marketing source.

I spoke to Orange direct and they confirmed that the company does do work on their behalf. If you give Orange a call they will tell you if your area has been marketed.

they keep calling me every single day between 18:00-19:00 pm. once i answer -and they sad they are from orange????!!! and that's -they hung up!!!! pls...............................HOW TO STOP THIS CALLS!!!!!!!!!!!!!! IT'S MAKES ME CRAZY they call from 2 no. one is 08009524854 and 01613800062

Called me today at 12.30, picked up and there was just noise, as if I was listening in to someone's conversation. I guess that means that they just have automated calling.
