I answered this call and engaged with the person on the end for about a minunte.

Said he was calling from Orange and then proceeded to ask me what network and Package I was on. I indicated that if they were from Orange they would know what network they were from...

I was advised that that information is confidential and isn't passed on to them from their customer services...bit odd.

Ended the call.

Two calls today already!

So annoying, something needs to be done to stop this, it's just taking the p*** now!

Yep, they've been calling me mid afternoon every day for a couple of weeks now.

A few missed calls from these idiots... One time I did answer them but they just hung up..!!

Been getting this number call me for a few days in succession. Dismissed the number each time. I suppose they'll get fed up eventually?

I had a missed call from them just now, rang the number back, recorded message saying the call was from LBM on behalf of Orange, if I no longer want to receive their calls to call 0800 9524874. Called that number, asks you to confirm your number (by typing your number in), then goes on to say that your number will be removed.

i had a missed call from them today at abpout 4pm. i didnt answer it as i didnt recognise the number.

Answered call, stated she was calling from Orange and wanted to ask a few questions to see if they could better my current contract.  Contract not up until August 2009 so she said she would phone back nearer the time.

ahhhh! they've started again. didn't answer, must try + block!

Well I'm yet another person been getting called from this number on more than one ocassion this month, in fact it seems to call on a daily basis at the moment, as of yet I have not answered this annoyance and like many of you decided to google the number and hey presto I join our family! LOL, and its only been calling my mobile for reference...for now!

Glad I googled this too.  Two calls in two days.  To pick up and asked to be removed from their database, or not to pick up.  That is the question.

yep, i get called about 8 - 10 times per day from this damn number. My best advice is to change your number! ive changed my number, which is a right pain, but its better than these people hassling me every day

They phoned me, i didn;t answer

This number has called me once or twice a day for over 2 weeks and now its crazy.
they never leave a message so i will never answer the phone or call them back.
when will they ever learn we dont want these calls.

Over the last few days this number has been calling me during the day at random times. If I answer, silence. Very annoying!

I called the number back and got an answer message saying if I didn't want to be called by them anymore call 0800 952 4874.  When I called that number I followed the voice prompts to enter my phone number and then got a recorded message saying I would be removed from their database within 3-5 days.  maybe this will happen or maybe they'll keep ringing.  I guess I have nothing to lose.

I've had them ringing me quite a lot this week and today I answered the phone. I was told they were calling from Orange and asked me what network I am currently on.

I said to the bloke that I didn't need to tell him which network I am on to have a conversation about Orange. And he hung up. Charming.

I suspect it won't be the last time that they call me either

To follow up my previous message, I wrote an email to Orange Customer Services, saying that I was pretty annoyed by the persistant phonecalls. This is the reply I received

At present Orange do occasionally send out marketing messages, although these are clearly identified as being from Orange.  Please note that we do not send promotional messages to those who have not given their consent, nor do we supply customers' details or phone numbers to outside agencies.  Unfortunately phone numbers are randomly generated or selected by the external parties concerned.
 
If you'd like to register a complaint, please call Telephone Preference Service (TPS) on 0845 070 0707 or visit www.tps-online.org.uk.  If you have been registered with this service for over 28 days at the time when a message is received, a complaint can be made to TPS who will investigate it and pass a report on to the Office of the Information Commissioner.

They ring me approx 4 times a day- I never answer. I just wish they would give up.
