I'm with EE and I've just found out 3 texts were charged at £3 each, so compared to others in this thread I got off lightly.

Your network provider, EE in my case can stop all chargeable texts from your phone, excluding MMS texts so you don't lose these, but any third party charged texts which Boku fall into this category.

I only found out by calling back and speaking to a manager as the first operator I had was useless. The usual attitude of its nothing to do with us..

Also she gave me the contact info for phone pay plus which are like the equivilant of offcom she informed me, so I'll be contacting them tomorrow to make a case against Boku. They regulate mobile paid for services in the UK, so I'll refer them to the contents of this forum.

Disgraceful when somebody claims for texts you never receive, and no idea from who.
Then you have to call them on another premium number to tell them to stop.
What happened to trust by your service provider, TalkTalk in this instance!!!!!!!!!!!

it's probably from a game he plays like for example moviestarplanet if u want to get vip. I play it and i wanted vip and that number showed up that it will send a message and if u reply 'y' to 78660, u will get vip.

I have also 2 contracts with Three and today noticed that both numbers came to the bill of £300 in total.. Three cant explain anything just gave me the number to call "Pay mobile" on 08081202341 but they were useless as well.. not gonna pay any penny for them...
