Automated voice says they contact you because you once worked in a noisy environment and you can claim from that employer for damage to hearing.  Next a real person talked to me and asked me where I had worked.  I said, "But you've phoned me because you claim that I worked in a noisy environment.  So you already know my work history.  Or why else would you phone me."  The lad (he sounded about 17) said I don't get that information.  Again he asked where I had worked so I hung up.  But they have called a few times since

Another bunch of scammers looking for lead generations for further scammers. Reported to ICO, Advise everyone else to do the same. The more complaints they get the quicker they will act. Help stamp out these recorded messages by their organisations being fined.

Received it yesterday about deafness claim.  If you hear the same recorded message which you did not give consent to the caller to call you, report them to ICO by clicking the link below.

Automated message - I hate those, you can't wind them up!

Automated message saying that someone in our household has had a hearing injury at work. Of course, none of us has. They call us regularly, from various numbers including 001212020404. We are registered with TPS. Definitely illegal!

Called me for the fifth time this week, but this time i answered.
Lies about it not being a sales call.
Lies about "our records say...".
Illegally calling a TPS number.

This number has called before.  It said it was a sales call and was calling about my work in industry.  That was neither mine nor me husband's work.  I was in the middle of making something
and had to drop it to answer what I guessed was yet another nuisance call.  Life was much simpler before we had telephones and had local call boxes instead.

Gets around TPS regulations by starting with a recorded announcement claiming it's not a sales call. Goes on to say their records show I used to work in a noisy environment,..... hung up.

Today's guise/Ruse is a hearing damage compo claim-same no-different services in past! Huge scammers trying to obtain personnel info! Never have worked in this industry/never claim or do business on phone-pressed their obviously spurious opt out no.9 option again as have loads b4-& STILL GET CALLS! When in ex directory & TOS registered! These need shutting down & prosecuting to the hilt!

Rang me at 1535 today, as I have caller display didn't answer but googled number when they hung-up.

Ignore - Left a voicemail which is an automated voice going "we have indicated that you work in a noisy environment.

As with the other comments a recorded load of crap. Thank god I've purchased a new Bt phone and have added this to the blocked call list

Another automated message: "This is not a sales call. Our records indicate you have worked in a noisy environment and may be due compensation for hearing loss..."

A year or two back, I used to get similar calls from actual people. That was a lot more fun, as they generally received the response; "Pardon! You'll have to speak up. I used to work in a noisy environment and I now suffer from hearing loss. Hello. Hello. Is there anybody there?"

Last week the Industrial Hearing Clinic was fined £220,000 for exactly the same nuisance calling.
The fine was levied by the Claims Management Regulator rather than any of the expected Authorities.     As they seem to have the ability and the attitude to sort out people like these, why not make a report in the hope of getting prompt action.
