Called. At 4.30 and 5 this morning. Not happy. Could. Not even. Sleep. Again. Same things a machine stating about an alarm and press 1.is there a way so that they. Won't call again - not happy

Called twice this morning at 4am and 4.30am, left a voicemail but there was no sound and I'm not signed up to an alarm company!

It is an alarm company alerting you to an intruder alarm being activated I know because I am a key holder on a premises

Phoned x2 on home and mobile at 1.40 am. Scam call about alarm. Don't phone back or you may get a heft mobile or landline charge. Automated call, callers identity not given and person being called not identified. Early am calls appears to be what these scammers do. They also have put false 'this number is OK' feedback on search pages.

This number called me at 1.34am. The automated voicemail is hard to hear but defers to "postcode ss41ld and if I am able to attend press 1 to speak to the next available agent"

I had a call at 1.34am this morning! Automated voicemail was difficult to hear but did say "postcode SS4 ***,if you are able to attend please press 1 to speak to the next available agent"
Your post makes sense.....the postcode relates to my workplace so could well be a scam to make me believe the alarm has been activated.

what did your boss say when you explained why you couldn't be bothered to respond to your company's alarm call out? or is this just part of your cover story to try to avoid disciplinary proceedings?

They said sorry to bother you your security system had gone off amedite attention  was required don't think so numpty's  I don't have to answer to you

Call received from this number at 0451hrs in the night. Did not answer as was premium rate number. No message left by them. Disturbed a nights sleep.

Call at 5.21 a.m. Didn't answer (no message left) but after looking on here, I agree that it appears to be an alarm monitoring company from previous comments. As a keyholder for a Club I went and checked. Phew, no break in but alarm box was showing a fault so this will be a genuine call and alert.

As an employer of Custodian Monitoring I can confirm that all calls from 08448791719 & 08448791703 are genuine. If you are called from this number then your number has been provided to Custodian by an alarm company. You may have been listed as an emergency contact by your place of work, remain a key holder for a property you are no longer a contact for or it may be a genuine wrong number.
If this is the case simply advise that you are not a key holder and request to be taken off the system and it will be done immediately.

If you receive an automated call quoting a postcode that you do not recognize I would advise to press 1 to speak to an operator to confirm that you are not a contact, this way we will be able to remove the number.

If the stated postcode is not yours, then it comes back to the same thing, that we have been given your number as a keyholder for a premises that you hold keys for or work for, so please just think if the postcode means anything to you, it may not be your property!!. If not, as mentioned before, call us and we will happily remove the number.

Unfortunately, we do not get to choose when the alarms activate, and we cannot put off any action on any alarm until suitable hours if it activated as stupid o clock, as by that time the potential burglar could have emptied the place.

We are passed on keyholder information from either an alarm company that installed the alarm, or another keyholder/responsible person for the security of the building, any mistakes that are made, are not ours. all we can do is call the numbers that we have been provided.

This is from a company called Custodian who look out for alarms. i work in a Control Room for a security company that holds keys of many buisnesses. They ring us when an alarm is activated so we can attend. Legit company

This is a scam, they are NOT an alarm monitoring company.  I checked with my alarm monitors and this company have NOTHING TO DO THRE.  They make money when you call back at a premium rate.  Block this number and don't return calls.

This is definitely a legit company, it is Custodian Monitoring, just Google the number again and you will find it is genuine! Just because your alarms are not monitored by Custodian doesn't mean that this is a scam!!!
