I got a call filter on my Motorola, one stupid call and you add them to your block list. You NEVER hear from  that number again.  SWEEEEEEEEEEET

They called me 5 times while I was at work and didn't leave a message. I got concerned that it was an emergency call. Then they phoned and just hung up.

They called me and I told them I was on the toilet doing a sh*t, they never called back after that!!

some guy called me, but obviously didn't realise. They are talking with Newcastle accents, I sat and listened with my dad and valeter for 10 minutes about his pedigree cats, one black, one brown and tan and he was also saying that he'd never sell an animal without all the right vaccines.

but at least they look after their cats!!!

I keep on getting called about twice a day.
If and when I answer the call drops.
Could someone (aside from the network provider) be benefiting for everytime I pick up the phone (reverse call charges)?
How can one find out?

they call and leave a blank (quite good timming) to get people ring them back ,at your cost of time and money, the reason i presume is they are desperate for buisness .

They just called me and somehow they knew my home telephone number, my name and the fact that I've had a loan in the past with payment protection insurance and they knew my home address!!
Apparently they'll, "get your money back"  if you've ever payed payment protection insurance.
By the way my bank was HSBC so I should suspect them lol

Call to my mobile then a call to my unlisted house number from an Indian call centre on behalf of MBNA.

Seems like a marketing company working on behalf of a number of companies.

This number has called me at least 3 times now, luckily missed calls to my mobile number that a) I don't just give out to anyone, and b) is and has been listed with TPS (what a joke they're turning out to be!) for quite some years now.  I managed to cut off the 2nd call...  I've reported them anyway to see if that stops the calls.  Thank god for caller id as at least I don't have to bother answering the phone to them :-)

Called twice  - they hung up both times. The second time at least they said hellow before doing so. Background sounded very busy.

this number has been calling me for a week now first thing in the morning and at night i havent answered it as they call my mobile but im getting really peed off with them, i thought they would get the message when i didnt answer the first 20 times they called have they nothing better to do with their time.

Had 2 calls in 2 hours on my mobile from this number and another, 0114 2493725. When I've Googled them they both come up on this forum as the same company! I've no idea how they've got my number but have saved their details under the name 'Do Not Answer!!' so they won't get any joy from me. Pisses me off though, who do they think they are?!

Twice in two days on a business line they've rung and hung up on me - no background noise at all (possibly a muted call until they want to speak) - wait for me to say hello etc and then terminate the call. Ignorant and thoroughly annoying.....

I don't give out my mobile number EVER for market research, so I'd like to know who has given them my number - they just won't stopping calling and I haven't managed to speak to anyone - slient cals every time!!!! It's soooooooooo annoying!!!!

Just returned from holiday and my TAM is full of these silent calls - 30+ calls and no room for anyone else!! Have tried the "do not call number" which will probably cost me an arm and a leg, but there is no point in blowing a loud whistle at an automated dialing machine. Caller sounded like LLoyds Marketing.

Have been called 3 times from this number, picked up once and is a silent line and the other two calls left silent voicemails!!

If you ring it back-it gives a number to add your number to their "do not call " list-they're a bloddy pain-having rung me about a dozen times in the last day or so

This number has been calling me several times a day for about three weeks.  I have ignored it on every occasion.  After reading the above comments I am not hopeful that they will  give up!
