They have called twice in last one week. Sensing they must be telesales, I did not pick up.

Just took a call.  They asked for my husband and I asked who was calling.  Replied "Castle" something or other.  I said he wasnt here and he said he would call back.  I said if you are sales dont bother because he wont talk to you and he said it was for a quote!!!

they have called me 7 times today,getting pissed off!!!!

got a call at arount 1.13pm.

automated call, saying government help with debt is available since april this year.

I class this as a scam, can get better help talking to someone in person face to face than an unsolicited call.

Had calls before but let it go to answer phone, but they hang up.

Call was vey poor.

Caller terminates the call as I pick up the telephone regularly. Numerous daily basis!

I had a missed call from this number and i have no idea who it was. Does anyone know?

I have had my number 10yrs+ and have had calls from loads of the numbers listed on this site, I just let them ring! simple! dont cancel the call, let it ring! and dont let it get to you ;) ignore it!

I just answered a call from this number and it was a genuine sales enqiry from HRG Capital, a plant financing company.  I aksed if I could call them back but they don't take incoming calls so it must be a call centre, but in fairness to the caller he did introduce himeslf to me and explain what he wanted politely, not pushy or rude at all.

These people have tried endless numbers of times to call -no idea who they are .My phone is registered with the TPS so how can they get away with it? Why isn't there an organisation who can actually do something about this !! Perhaps time for a facebook campaign.

I happen to work in a similar call centre. I'm just taking a break from annoying all you stuck up, ignorant, cant get your thumb out of your own [***] fuckwits to let you know why we are so persistant.

1) you don't answer. - you might find out what the call is about if you actually pick up!!!!
2) When we introduce ourselves you hang up straight away, you dont even know what the calls about (you may have won the lottery for [***] sake)
3) When we explain the purpose of the call you say you are not interested and hang up, tell us what you are not interested in and have a conversation you set of idiots.

The only reason you hang up is because you are too thick to hold a conversation!!!

Well, you are a fine example of what this website is all about.  What about the people who ask you not to call again? Whay about the people who pick up the 'phone and there is no-one at the other end?
What about the people who are waiting for an urgent call and get you instead? What about the people who just, plain, don't want to buy from an unsolicited call or do a survey. What about the people who have had, say, 10 calls in a day before you ring.  My daughter was called by a salesman the day after she had found her husband dead. She told him this and he just went on with his script for double glazing! Then you wonder why we don't waant your calls.

We are just trying to do a job.
We will from time to time offer services which you may benefit from/require.
If you hold the conversation like you are talking to a human you will get a human response.
If you listen to the reason for the call give a valid reason why you would not want the product and have respect for other people then people will have respect for you.
People clearly do buy, have appointments set, take part in surveys or give feedback or there would be no such call centres.
Maybe you get a bad response because you are rude and abrupt.
The person calling you will not already hold information such as "You have had a bad day", "you are busy", "you are at work", "you have had 5 calls earlier in the day from various companies" so maybe try explaining this??????
Large reputable companies use outsource call centres for their marketing/sales so obviously disagree with what you beleive.
Maybe, Just Maybe you are a bit sad bitter and twisted and haven't got the time of day to say hello to somebody that would like to speak to you and are too ignorant to care what anyone else has to say.
Or just too stubborn to admit that somebody could be advising you on something you know nothing about or could benefit from but didnt think of yourself??

We all basically have a job to do and our job is to offer services and resonable infomation to members and customers of the public,we dont call with an attitude or in any way of intending to offer abuse so we dont expect it back end of the day where all out to earn a living so all you hardnuts out there who slam phones down shout abuse and dont give a [***] just remember ,ull be calling someone one day for ur gas/elec or to get in touch with a bank or mobile or to find out about any other info that u need and if i come across these people they will be getting SLAMMMMMMED DOWN TOOO!!!
