Hi, they keep calling me and when I answer they dont even say anything??? I did get my phone from Phones 4 U but why would they not talk? I m also going to complain to their head office and ask a law lecturer where i work about the legality of this.

this number keeps ringing me and has rung me up to about 8 times everyday, and when i go to answer they put the phone down, who is it and is there any way of blocking it?

I remember them from the last time my contract was coming within a few months of renewal. I went in and shouted at them and they promised they wouldn't cold call, but.....

Some of the comments on here are a hilarious read..........to my point, i've also been getting a million calls from this number, before i used to ignore them because i assumed it would be some c*ntfeatures selling me sh*t, but today i decided to pick up twice and both times they put the phone down.  I guess the people at the other end just have a job to do, whereas the brains behind these nuisance calls needs to be hung, drawn and quartered.

I just got these calls this morning but didnt answer as i was in work so i thought id try the internet and see if it gave me who it was a sit looked like a company call..now seeing this comment its rather worrying :O

I will be getting an upgrade soon anyway but I cant ask for one cause I got it in my mums name lol

Id advise anyone who keeps getting these calls to try and block them if you can, i know with my phone for some reason you cant block certain nuumbers which is stupid :S

I have calls from this number every single day.  Its very annoying.  Have answered it but get no response when i do so now i just ignore them.  If i want a new phone i will contact them.

I had assumed this number was phones 4U so never answered it!! I have also had contractes with phones 4U for many years, and have always taken them up on their cash back offer and had no problems. However I'm leaving the uk and my contract with oragne expires next month so I do find it irritating that they feel the need to ring up to 5 times a day, surely they must've got the message by now I'M NOT INTERESTED!!!

Just received a call from them. Have been getting loads of calls from dodgy companies trying to scam me into signing up for "upgrades" so was a little concerned. Said i'd deal with it in store, explained why i was concerned, and the guy kept insisting that i give me first line of address. I said no, at which point he got quite aggressive and agitated and started basically shouting down the phone at me that i was being stupid and there wasn't anything to worry about. I said i thought it was strange that someone from Vodaphone's head office would be keen to get my personal info from me, said thank you and hung up.

They keep ringing me and have been for the past 3 weeks and it's over 4 times and it's one call after another ... I don't pick up phone numbers i don't no so haven't been i just hope they give up soon! what its it even about i know now that it's Phones 4 U but what do they want to know?

Sluggy, everytime u upgrade 2 months early it gets added onto your new contract. e.g. 2 months off 18 month contract is 20 months the next time. Ur betta going thru with the netowrk themselves, they offer u any phone u want and £5 - £10 off each monthly bills... Also free insurance and a free phone replacement shuld urs break unlike phones4u who charge u for repairing or replacement phones unless you pay insurance.

It is Phone 4 U as i have just called the number from my landline and its just a answer machine telling you its phone 4 U and they will call you back,,

I got a call from this number trying to upgrade my mobile with 3. I originally took out the contract through Phones 4 U so am assuming it's their call centre (especially after reading these other posts). I was asked what handset I had 4 times during the call (obviously not great at listening) and they kept putting me on hold! I told them at least twice that I wouldn't be agreeing to a new contract over the phone and at some point I was randomly passed to another person. When the new person put me on hold, I hung up. They were completely wasting my time and couldn't answer the simplest of questions. They even tried to sell me a handset that had been out for ages, not exactly cutting edge! I'm ignoring this number now too.

In 16 days this number has called me 27 times.
I believe it is Phones 4 U as my contract finishes in May and I think they want me to upgrade. If they checked their records properly, they would see that I am on a cashback scheme & don't get the last quarter of my cashback until May so would be stupid to upgrade as I would lose the cashback!
Phones 4 U have already text me 3 or 4 times to offer me an upgrade to which I have not responded as I am not interested. You would think they would get the message. I certainly wont be buying from Phones 4 U again as I don't like being harrassed!

E-mailed the Phones 4 U customer services yesterday requesting that they stop trying to call me.
Just had a reply requesting the phone number that is calling so that they can remove my details from the database.

They keep calling me and im on Orange and never had a contract phone!

next time they ring me (they do every day at 7.40) i cannot wait to tell them to [***] off.
