I have been phoned twice yesterday and 5 times today... I have ignored and missed most of them and my sisters have had the same thing happen to them...

they are actually doing my head in, they ring up to 10 times a day, haven't they got anything better to do? Obviously not.

Keep getting calls also from this number, answer the call then place it on the dashboard and let them listen to radio 5 live for a while, they soon hang up. We should al contact OFCOM who will fine them heavily for 'silent calling' it is a pracrtice that has been outlawed by OFCOM who will come down heavily on P4U or should they be called Phones r crap

I don't get what you're all moaning about. Yeah they phone a lot, but when I finally answered, the woman on the end of the phone was very polite and helpful, and I have managed to upgrade my phone and contract 3 months early.

Instad of ignoring all the calls why dont you speak to them and politely tell them to [***] off, if u keep ignoring u they wont stop. just answer and tell them to leave u alone, ur not interested. and thats it....

just had the same no call me.. i have an LG Viewty and i am not changing anything, i actually like my phone and im not changing anything because i am happy. so phones4u can [***] off!!!!!!

This number has rang me about 10 times a day for over a week now
I've tried cancelling every time
Answering every time and just leaving the phone on the desk
Telling them to f*ck off loudly
Answering and then smashing my phone into the desk repeatedly and/or screaming into the phone

I've spoken to phones4u and they deny its them - the guy on the phone identified himself as "I'm calling from vodafone head office"

Seriously seriously stressed - going to have to cancel my contract and get a new number

yeah, they keep calling at least once a day. have rejected all their calls so far.

Phones 4 U (on this number) and occasionally Orange (on another number)  have been stalking me for weeks to try to get me to "upgrade my contract" when it expires. That is still not for another 2 months.  I get at least 2 calls a day, every day except Sunday,  and they even try up to 8pm. I also get texts. Mostly, I ignore them, but I have answered them and told them in no uncertain terms that I will NOT be renewing with either of them, mostly because they are harrassing me to do so and it is very off-putting. And they STILL will not leave me alone!

Do these people never give up? How can I stop them?

I received a call from this number 08450264628 no idea who it is....No voice mail either. Looks like come marketing call.

i'm getting them too - i've had 4 already this morning.

i told them, quite aggressively, 3 months ago that i will not be upgrading with them if they call again.  and still they call.

here's my advice.

every time they ring, say, "hold on, i will just get them for you" and let them hang on and waste their phone bill.  they will tire of it eventually.  now i know who is ringing me (thank you google!) that is what i will be doing now.  

actually, there is ofcom to complain to as well....

would like to know whether it is vodafone or phones4 u - when i upgrade (just waiting for the nokia n97!) - it will not be through either of these companies!  i never had this when i was with t-mobile for years!

we all need to do something collectively to put a stop to this - up the internet revolution!  ;o)

damn... i just missed their 5th call.  i so wanted to piss them off

i ve got like 3 calls from this number. after everything i read  here, i decided to put it on reject list

yup same problem here....although i was once told that the people on the end of the phone have to make a certain 'quota' a day of phone calls..hence why they call you and the line is silent - to their manager it looks like they have made masses amounts of calls (more than if they actually spoke to someone and was on the phone for 30 minutes at a time)

after reading peoples comments on here im starting to think this is the reason i answer and get either silence or the hang up tone! not bothering to call back as not wasting my minutes on them but when they do answer i shall politely tell them where to shove it!

i only started getting these phone calls 3 days ago, the first day i had 8 calls from them, yesterday i had 26 and today by lunchtime i have had 11.
i am really getting p****d of with them and decided the next time they phone i am going to threated them with legal action. this is harrassment!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

These phone calls are coming night and day can i cancel my contract with vodafone for harsment ? sorry cant spell fone calls keep disturbing my sleep......

In the last half hour iv tried texting them STOP but text didnt go through so if rings from them again im going to answer it then freton to go to watchdog about it.... if not want to cancel my monthly payment cos they r driving me mad......................................

So pleased to find this site and solve the irritating calls I have been getting for over a week, many times a day.  They are a dreadful pain in the a....  Now that I know who it is I certainly would never deal with that Company.

have had about 20 calls off them in the last 2 days! i also dont answer numbers i dont recognise and i havent answered this one, thought id just type it into google and cant belive this came up
