These people have been ringing me on a regular basis since the middle of June. But they don't withold their number so I know not to answer now once I recognise the number that is calling me. One of their calls came when I was stuck in a traffic-jam on the M5 motorway. I answered the call because my car was stationary and because I was curious. I explained my circumstances (stuck in traffic) and they seemed to think it was my fault that I didn't have a 'hands-free' setup in my car. Said they would ring again later that evening ... and they DID but by then I had found out who they were thanks to this website so I didn't answer the call. They have rung me again yesterday and today and no doubt will continue to do so until they get bored and move on to someone else.

I get rid of all mobile phone cold callers by challenging them to save me money. I then tell them that I'm a Virgin pay-as-you-go customer and top my phone up with £5 every three months. They don't seem to call me back

This number has been calling me non-stop around 5 times a day for the last 2 weeks. I have a pay as you go phone with Orange so I don't know why Phones 4 U are contacting me other than someone has given out my number.

i have been getting calls from this number for the past 2 days im not wiv vodaphone? and im on pay as u go? why would they be phonig me?

Unbelievable. I recently emailed these guys to stop calling me and said if they don't I'll escalate the complaint to the regulator for harassment. I just received a call from them on my mobile which was at first silent followed by laughing and someone clearly said "oh you f*****g nobhead f*** off"

Yup being stalked by this number too!

I've had over 80 calls from them in the last month including one day when i received 10 calls and the following day when i received 6 calls withing 20 minutes!!!!  

I've went onto the P4U web site and onto their "contact us" page,  sent an email to this address  talktous@phones4u.co.uk  or you can ring their customer relations on 0844 871 2244,  but why waste your money when you can send an email for free!     I received a grovelling appology the next day explaining that they were sorry for the problems caused and that my details would be removed from their database within 24 hours, calls stopped the same day!

also fibbed just a little bit by telling them that I'd been in touch with OFCOM and Watchdog at the BBC and who are investigating.

so far I've not had a call in the last week.
