this number are a small debt agency somewhere in a low life area but anyway bollocks to them i dont ow [***] fools so [***] bampots haha

I was called this morning to. And they left a message and asked for me or my partner to call back before 6pm. But yes it is debt collectors for council tax, usually from AA Hutton Sheriff Office.

I keep getting calls from this number asking for Henry Burns. I live alone and there is no Henry Burns here. It's rather annoying.

They called me last week - I didn't answer but a scottish lady left a message asking for Mrs Kovak to call her back. I ignored it, not being Mrs Kovak. They called again this week but I answered. A scottish gentleman asked again for Mrs Kovak, I said it was the wrong number and he asked if this was such and such an address. I reiterated it was the wrong number, he apologised and rang off.

Nothing too sinister...unless you're Mrs Kovak!!

This company has been harassing me for a parking fine for about 3 years now.  I receivbed a letter from them out of the blue saying I'd committed a parking offence in glasgow about a year before hand - I recieved no ticket on my car, no notice to owner (which meant i couldn't 'appeal' it within the time frame), no charge certificate; nothing (not even evidence to prove it was my car and it was parked illegally - I didn't know where I was at the particular day/time so I needed them to prove it which I don't think is unreasonble.  The 'Fine' now stands at £141 and needless to say, I am refusing to pay it because I know absolutely nothing about it.  I am a disabled driver and always display my bagdge - I think I'll tell them I let them borrow £500 a year ago and demand payment, see how they like it!

I am disabled single parent struggling on benefits because I can't work.  the stress is really getting to me but apparently I can't do a thing about this - how can this be allowed??

These people are very arrogant and rude and really not interested in hearing the facts of the case... it's just "put up and shut up".

Just had a call from them, 11:13 am on a Saturday morning.

Demanding money from me, but can't give them what I don't have, if I had money I wouldn't have gotten into money difficulties.

Just had a call from these people today; must say a charming fella answered the phone and said it was with regards to British Gas? Very odd... must go and see if I've ever had anything with them.

I repeatedly receive telephone calls from this number and when I answer the telephone call is hung up.  I regard these as nuisance calls - presumably this system operates so that Scott+Co can allege that they have telephoned me regarding any council debt arrears relating to my property.

This number phoned me this morning too and hung up.

After I had recieved numersous calls about a debt that had nothing to do with me, and having asked them nicely to stop, report them to the police for harassment. That soon made them stop

I got a voicemail today from this number and they didn't even identify themselves, thay said " Hi David, its, erm, can you call me back before 5.30pm today please, the number will have come up on your phone". Needless to say I didn't call them back and won't be. Shouldn't they be identifying themselves properly?

Just Got acall from this number this morning , asking me to pay 205 pound for british gas , which I had paid at th same time they came for . So I dont understand why these guys calling me , why not british Gas themselves. I flt this soounds like dodgy or s.th. Any Ideas????

This no. has called me several times, since I have recieved a council tax bill for my last address, which I
lived in 6yrs ago. The bill is totally eroneous. I owe nothing from this or any time. my lawyer is dealing
with this but still they persist.When they call they either say nothing or ask for someone who is a
totall stranger.

This is from Scott & co they are using a few numbers to be as sneeky as they can to fool you into answering, anyone who asks for you by using your full name including middle names are debt collectors.

When is enough enough for these money and power hungry corporations using fear and intimidation won't work. We the people should make a stand and just say NO then hang up.

Dictionary definition SCOTT & CO .. a money hungry corporation making money on the backs of an already struggling to survive society.

If you are on Benefits they cannot take any money from you. Citizens' Advice will help with debt advice.

Don't give Scotts/creeps info - they ask questions about your status, property to see if they can take your house off you.  If you speak assertively, as if YOU are in charge of the phone call, say you are about to claim Benefits and are going to see a Debt Councillor.  This at least gives you a short time to change circumstances.  My council once asked me for a payment I had paid to Scott & didn't know they had passed the debt on.  Aye, right!

I hope the cutbacks screw some council managers. I could vote Tory for the first time!
