I received several calls from this number early this morning advising it was a text messaging service and Parcelforce were delivering a a high value parcel later that day. Whilst I appreciated receiving a call I had also been emailed about the delivery so the phone calls were totally unnecessary.

Audio text message to my landline. Number kept on ringing all morning so picked up. Computer voice told me it was the BT SMS service and I had a message - I'm not with BT!!. The computer then told me the sender number (didn't pick up what was said) and I was then given a load of options to press keys on my phone. No way was I going to do that. Then the computer just read out the message. Perfectly safe. It was from my electricity supplier - they only have my landline number as the contact - and they had just fitted my smart meter. Wanted to know if I was happy with the work.

This called soooooo many times yesterday and last night. After finding out it was a BT text to landline no, I ended up calling. Turned out it was a message with a verification code for my daughter (which went to her mobile anyway). Really not happy with the ringing at all hours. I work from home but can't leave the meetings etc to go to the landline - and am not picking up at stupid o'clock at night.

SMS message was sent to my landline in audio format. Not with BT so a bit puzzled but I recognised the caller number when I answered but let it run to the end of what the computer was telling me. The computer then read out the message. Seems safe enough to me but wouldn't recommend pressing any button on your phone just because a computer tells you. I have checked this number further and understand that you can set a curfew time to limit when this number can call.

Have been getting dozens of calls from this number all day and very late at night. How to stop them?
