- chuck replies to SandyI am also with TPS but have not registered this number with but will certainly do so now, these calls are an invasion of privacy, if I want something I go out and buy it as I am sure many people do. All these calls do is make people decide not to buy products which are the subject of unsolicited calls
- DerryThese people are conmen and take advantage of the elderly and weak.

- pandaI received a call from this number I am exdirectory never ever been in directory yet they know name and number who is passing number on ?
- MarilynCHave had at least four calls from this number in the last ten days. They hang up when the answer phone kicks in so I have not answered them.
- KCMy elderly parents are being plagued by calls from these people, trying to sell 'Adjustable Beds'. They are on TPS so should not have to put up with this. TPS doesn't seem to mean anything these days??
- Call type: Telemarketer
- Nan| 2 repliesMy lucky day. Two cold calls from different companies. This was "Graham" from Comfomatic. Informed him the number is TPS registered and hung up. Went to TPS to complain and, judging from the "drop down" which appears when you start to enter the callers name, they have had lots of complaints. Obviously not doing anything about them. I therefore went to the Comfomatic website and used the "Contact us" facility. Told them I had reported them to TPS, told them to remove my number from their calling list and that any further calls would be reported to the ICO.

- Nan replies to Nan| 1 replyReceived an e-mail response from Mike at Comfomatic. Claimed that either I, or my husband, must have answered an advert o indicated that they should contact us. Either that or we had not been registered with TPS for long enough fo it to be active. Replied that a) we had never requested information from them and b) we had been TPS registered for about10 years. His response was that they received information from "a reputable source" that we were interested in hearing from them. He is going to investigate and let us know where they got the information from. That should make interesting reading as we always opt out of having our details passed on and never put our telephone number on any website we visit. In addition, if there is no "opt out" option on a website, we do not use the site.
- ACEThese people phoned my TPS registered, unlisted number - offered a 'free memory foam pillow' which i don't want.
they want to make a presentation about their beds - I'm not interested.
Do they listen to 'I'm not interested - NO......
I think I shall check with a friend who is Trading standards officer to see what the position is.- Caller: Comfomatic

- Nan replies to NanHave contacted Comfomatic again asking how long it will be before they tell me where they got my data from. He told me they get their information from WOW Media but they still have to find out where WOW got it from. Have Googled WOW Media and it seems to be a company based in Budapest.
- stuart birdThis firm keep calling but will not leave a message on my answerphone. I do not answer calls any more unless i know the caller as we are getting so many. I did register twice with TPS but it had no effect. Waste of time i think.
- dickunCall from this number pm today. Left it to the answerphone. No message left. Will report it to tps, for what it's worth.
- Pee Dorf| 1 replyHad a call this morning... surprisingly a human explained that I was Ex directory and TPS. Was told I must have ticked a box, explained I had not and requested why they had called me, was told that they are provided with a list and if I wanted further info I would have to call their main office, but was given the website
http://www.comfomatic.com/contact.php
There is a box that you can enter a phone number for them to call you.... suggest we all have a bit of fun and enter the number of the last 8 unwanted callers and give them some of their own medecine.
Wonder how long before they get p£@@ed off- Caller: Confomatic
- Call type: Telemarketer
- Dawnthey called to offer me a free memory pillow, then i said i was just dishing up and they hung up
- Chip replies to TessaI received mine at 10:19 today. This is an identified source of nuisance calls. Why has nothing been done to prosecute or block the number?
- V WilliamsI received a call this morning at 09:40. The girl asked to speak with my father who had completed a questionnaire. How I wish my father could complete a questionnaire as he passed away some time ago. This company has reached the absolute pits telling their staff to phone and prey on elderly people using the ploy 'you are completed a questionnaire and asked us to contact you as you are interested in purchasing one of our products.' Elderly people's memories are not what they used to be and to use this tactic is shameful.
It is about time this type of cold calling was put a stop to. When you receive a call from these people, let your local MP know. I will be writing to their MD and my local MP as since my father's death, I have been inundated with these types of calls. These companies need to be taken to task once and for all, named and shamed so everyone knows how low they will stoop to sell their products.- Caller: Comformatic
- BruceCall was from Consumatic, but may be I misheard and it was Conformatic.
She apologised and terminated the call when I mentioned TPS- Caller: conformatic
