But i said o.k. you can come round on the condition that it will take no longer than 15mins as i have a terminally ill wife, wich they agreed to. 2 men came the next day, after about 45 mins i asked them to leave,,as my wife was getting very agitated. They did leave but told me that they were not happy. So silly me i filled in the 30 day survey and sent it off for the pillow worth supposidley £60..   With a cheque for £5.95. I noticed that the cheque was cashed  6 weeks ago, but have not recieved any pillow. Do not trust this company. Dont be stupid like myself, I must be getting old 77 now, You have been warned.

To put pressure on you like that was disgusting. I would have said contact Trading Standards, but you obviously have enough on your plate, so it looks like you can only chalk it up to experience.  A couple of months ago I got a cold call from this company.  Told the caller that my 'phone was TPS registered and hung up.  I then sent an e-mail to the company to report this call and tell them to remove my details from their calling list.  I received a rude e-mail back stating that I had expressed an interest in their products.  As this was a complete lie I asked them where they had got that information from.  Eventually they informed me that the data had come from WOW Media.  That company seemed to be based in Bucharest!.  I then contacted WOW Media and asked them where they had got the information from.  Again, it was a struggle to get the information, but they eventually said it had come from UK Opinion Polls.  That is interesting because UK Opinion Polls feature on this website as an overseas fake Survey Company.  They had 'phoned me and I had hung up on them without speaking.  So it looks like Conformatic are not fussy where they get their leads from.

Another call which left no message on the answerphone. It's annoying that I for one will now not pick up the phone, as most incoming is now nuisance calls. Relying on the answerphone does put off some bona fide callers I know, and its unreasonable to expect all of them to leave a message. We deliberately don't reveal our name or address on the answerphone outgoing message for security reasons. So lots of people have to put up with inconvenience (or worse) whilst these firms just carry on and or regulators appear powerless to stop them.

What is surprising about this one is that it's a UK company and has been doing this from the same number for well over a year. Presumably they see nothing wrong with what they're doing.

I like Pee Dorf's tactic, but don't have the time to  put it into action myself.

1st time I have received a call from this number, I didn't recognise it and therefore didn't answer.
I think it's about time the companies that sell telephone numbers on are prosecuted.

Yes has above they were memory beds. What annoys me with these people. When you answer the phone, I have to keep saying hello hello has they are so busy talking to colleagues. So then I put the phone down. Oh and another thing they never get my name right.

Just tell them you/your son/brother/nephew/cats aunt/ works for a national large bedmanufacturer and you don't need help in those matters, you can get better deals than they can provide thankyou !
i.e. LIE, these people have no scruples about twisting stories to get you to buy so you are within your rights to tell them nothing truthful. This business has got to stop !!!

Threaten them with 'watchdog/the police/BT.
And as a last resort tell them you have good friends  `in the business of forceful persuasion' and they would be more than pleased to find out where they are located and can 'put pressure on them to see they desist' !

Keep phoning me said they were an adjustable bed company, couldn't catch the name as they speak so quickly.  I just told them to p---s off.

20th May 2013. Phoned about 12:00 Midday. Claimed to be selling orthorpeadic beds. We will be in the area about 2-o-clock tomorrow, the conversation went. Did not do business with them, conversation lasted about 5 Mins. Please stop these obvious liars. Thanks

Received a call from Comfomatic this morning. Lady polite enough but would only say ,when asked, that they got their phone number information from a "reputable" source.                                                              If anyone wishes to be a "nuisance" in return their address is  Unit 15, Turnstone Business Park, Mulberry Avenue, Widnes,  WA8 0WN  (as per their website)

had a call from this number but didnt answer as i didnt know the number. when are we going to have these COLD calls stopped. IF i wanted a comfomatic bed i would phone them. this cold calling has got to stop, stop, stop, COME on MP's  THIS country pays you well to sort out OUR PROBLEMS never mind the WORLD problems

Nuisance calls constantly from this number.  Lady calling from Comfomatic.  Asking to speak to my father.  He has just died.

I'm currently dealing with Comfomatic who called called my mum who is very eldery and not completely with it and pretty-much bed bound. A salesman from Comfomatic went round to see her. After four hours the salesman left with a cheque for £500 and a finance deal which would have cost my mum £4300 in total - yes £4300! This was for an electric chair not much different to the electric one she was sat in during the four hours the salesman was there. Very little paperwork was left with me mum and most of it was wrong. One thing was clear and that was they would have taken away my mum's current chair. Had that happened what would she have done if she had later tried to cancel? I've been on to the company who appear apologetic and seem to accept that "errors were made" by the salesman. I'm now in the process of cancelling the contract before delivery of the new electric chair and seeing if I can get the £500 deposit back. Fingers crossed... I got a call this morning from Graham at Comformatic.  Told him we were unlisted and with TPS.  He said this was the funny thing (I am not laughing), its a survey not a sales call.  I explained that a cold call is always sales related and he was breaking the law.  All the time I talked, he talked over me until I screamed at him to take our details off his list.  Reported to TPS, please keep reporting, they will eventually take action but its slow.

Another comfomatic phone scam..... praying in the elderly and taking £3,800 off an elderly parent and then no refund as plastic removed from bed !!!, was never even sat on as it was damaged and within cooling off period . Absolute disgrace.
