They have been doing this to me too! Same number and both lines. Scared it might be a sim swap scam?

I also keep on getting calls from this number a lot over the past few months .... and 4 times today. I answered once, the 1st time it rang - silence on the other end.
It is enough harassment from these Mofo's. What do they think gives them the right to do this? Even if I were looking to get into a new cellphone contract or change from where I am, I would never consider a company that is so thick skinned that it constantly phones and phones even though they can clearly see I don't wnat to talk to them.
I'm extremely angry .... all they can do is Jabba, Jabba, Jabba on!

This number has been calling me for the last 3 days, both on my cell phone number and my home landline!  Also they call, I answer and they hang up?
The thing is, where do they get our numbers from?  Do they obviously have a MASSIVE database at their disposal and where do they get it from, surely this is ILLEGAL?

I got a call from 087 310 7556, I Didn't answer as I was at work.  when i tried to phone it back it goes to a fax noumber.

This person needs to burn. Keep calling and hanging up. Extremely frustrating. Going to take this number to the police to see if they can do anything about it soon. Is there no way to block a number????

Hi there, I share the same problem. 0873107556 keeps calling me and then hangs up. Before this a lady did try to explain how I qualify for a cellular package. It sounds to me like the same lady from Jabba Connections.

Same story as everyone else - keep getting phone calls on our home phone I answer no one responds then they hang up. I phone the number back to give whoever it is a piece of my mind and its consistently engaged. NOT COOL. Is anything being done about this?

I had the same thing yesterday - got a call from that number on my cell, answered & it hung up suddenly my direct line at work rang & as i answered it hung up. Today I've had one call; so far..

How do they get my direct line??

Can anyone phone these pricks back? If i try and dial the number, it just goes dead.

I was told they are from Cell C. but when you phone back they are unavaliable.
Most cell phones you can block specific numbers so that they do not ring through.
If you don't know how to do that on yours go onto the phones web site and look it up.
You can generally find it there

They buy data bases from various places that you have delt with.
Insurance Companies, Banks, Medical Aids, the AA, Retail shops where you have accounts, etc.
If you get one of them on the line, ask them where they got your number (seemingly they have to tell you or you can report them) and tell them to imediatly remove you from their data base or you will be taking it up legally.
Then you phone the company who gave it out and give them hell for giving out your number without your permission.
My son did that and you cannot believe how fast the manager of the company phoned him back to apolagise and assure him it would not happen again.
I know these companies are just trying to make money but If we all did this maybe it will sink in.

I also had three calls from this number.

Got 3 calls today from this number at 16:41, 14:29 & 10:39.. They just hang up after 3-5seconds of silence. I added the number to my phone's blacklist, so now they will never get through to me ever again. Problem solved.

I got a phone call on my cell from 0873107556, but they hung up as I picked up. Immediately afterwards they phoned me on my work number on which I have a private line and I never give this number out, so it makes no sense how they got my work number. On top of that, they know who I am, my name and surname, this is really freaking me out!!!

I've been getting these calls the whole of last week answering every time but then just get hung up on! Eventually I just kill it when it starts running until I got tired of these guys and decided I'm gonna try one more time to answer and I spoke to some guy but didn't register anything else but that its a tele sale and then just have him a piece of my mind for calling me constantly for a stupid sales pitch so he laughed and hung up! That was on Saturday that I got the last call! This morning at 8 it started again! No answer! I'm willing to go to this company and sorting this out the good old fashion way cause clearly no one cares about us that work and actually have lives!

This needs to end!
