Anybody any idea on this one - went to my ansaphone and a bloke on the end kept saying hello then hung up.

Just got a call from this number - no one spoke after I said hello, lots of background noise (like a call centre)

I got the same just now.

Just silence!

Just had a call from this number.... strange.

Received call 13.40 on 9 Sept. Didn't get to answer it. Tried phoning number but calls barred to this number

had a missed call on my mobile from this number bbut no answer phone msg and no idea who it is

just had call to my house phone from this number no body on line then hung up not many has my number can't understand

I just got a call too on my mobile number and it had latin music playing when I answered. Has no-one got any answers on this yet??? Hope its not one of those scam ones thats going to affect my phone bill!!!

I received a call from this number this morning (2nd November 2009).When i answered the caller hung up! Who is this person or organisation??

Have had a few silent calls from this no but also 2 calls from same no saying they were from Windows Security Centre telling  me my computer was running slow - could I log in for them to help me with my problem - when I pressed for more information they said they were ringing from Bradford (both callers has Asian accents)they hung up - 1471 was the 08888... no but when I rang back I got the message - no dialled not recognised ??? Anyone else had a similar call?

sounded like someone from a call centre abroad, claiming that someone from my telephone number had reported an accident recently. Sounded like an ambulance chasing parasite-I told them this and hung up!

ive just read in the daily star newspaper (26/05/2010) that this number belonged to 3 people that now died, 2 of which being bulgarian mafia members....basically the phone company have barred the number due to it being a 'jinx'.....maybe whoever was ringing you has 'hacked' into a phone line to make it look like they're using that nukmber....i dont know just a suggestion.

just got call from this number .....they hung up as soon as i said hello !!!...........why dont they get a life !!!

I just received a call frol that number (0888888888888), and Im from LIMA / PERU. I heard music noise and a woman telling me bad words and threaten me. I'm very scared.

i also reveive a phone call from the same number. I live is SA. Who ever it is, is pulling a prank and having people worried about it.

Just taken a call from this number, said they were doing a lifestyle survey! Foreign caller from a call centre, told them I didnt do phone surveys and they hung up straight away

It is a call centre offering lifestyle surveys nothing harmful. Just say you don't do telephone surveys they were polite and ok

Had someone call me on this number i didnt answer it as it look extremely different from other numbers, tried ringing it back and got number not reconised??
