Just had a call from this number. Picked the phone up but didn't say anything. They didn't say anything either and they eventually hung up!

Just had the second call in 2 days from these people, will probably get more, i just say no thank you bye, and hang up, but they did say on both occasions they are from home service and want to talk about my electricity and gas supply

caller claimed to be UK Habits - when I cut them off they phoned back ad told me (abusively) that they had now put me on permanent callback

Received a phone call said her name was Rachel with a foreign accent, wanted to do a short survey said she was not selling and would take only a few minutes I just put the phone down,

who called me.

Just got a call, they claimed to be O2, but all I could hear was background call centre noise, and the woman speak sounded like she was talking under water. I said for a telecoms company they ought to have better lines and put the phone down.

I'm registered on the TPS but these calls are STILL coming through!

Had a call from this number who wanted to know if I had a panic button!

Unsolicited phone call to an ex-directory/TPS-registered private number from 08888 888 888 at 11:38 am 27 Apr 2015 from Asian-sounding 'John'.   Didn't give him an opportunity to explain the reason for his call.

TO WHAT?   A thread about 088888888 does not seem the right place for  986 numbers.

we have up to 12  calls everyday, from this number and others, mainly saying they are from survey company and sometimes from Microsoft or windows, they get very abusive when you say they are a scam, the last call repeated my whole address to me and said they were going to come round and kill my whole family. Luckily I don't scare easily.
