- LJWGot a call to this number on my Virgin phone bill for £25.62 lasting exactly for 20 mins.... turns out a few people have received these calls on their landlines.. .when you call back from mobile it connects to Matrix Horoscopes... sounds like a scam to me. Miracle in my case as the landline is not even connected, there is no dial tone!
has anyone else received these scam calls on their phone bill???

- Nick replies to KyiaExactly same thing happened to me. Just opened my statement and 20 minute call to 09041948679 (slightly different number) costing £25.62. I do not want to pay £100 up front though i'm assuming you will get a refund if they prove you didn't make the call?

Do you all use the same telephone exchange for instance? - Kyia replies to someone hacking into exchange???I am a Virgin Media customer and have been for years. I live in South East London. I'll find out today if Virgin will be charging me. but if several people are saying the same thing then surely Virgin have to do something about it!
Anyway the techi will be here at 11:30.
I'll keep you posted. - KyiaThe Techi has been round and he said that there are a few high level criminals who are able to hack into the exchange from all over the world so he doubts that it'll be a crossed line.
The advice the brilliant Virgin Media Techi gave was to report it to the police then Virgin has to take you seriously.
I'm on the phone to Virgin Media now and they have kindly waived the call out fee when i gently enforced my intentions to report it to the police as a crime of theft. I probably will still report it as a crime and get a Crime Number.
The customer service gentleman has now told me that they are going to investigate the allergation......properly! and will get back to me within 5 days.
Virgin Media know that there is a problem here but are refusing to take responsibility for it. and I know that because the companies own staff know about it.
If anyone gets the same telephone number or any of the other stuff simular to the above complaints, make sure you ask Virgin Media for a full investigation straight away unless there are several calls being made which maybe a different problem.- Caller: 09041948677

After all of the Bravado i received a call from Virgin media a few minutes ago telling me that the monies will be credited to my account as there was a fault on the exchange.
She also stated that this happens regularly!!!!!!!!!!
Always check your bills people!

£28 exc Vat. Virgin customer, Enfield area too. £90 investigation fee to investigate fault. Me thinks there wont be one... what's going on with this number then?- Caller: Switch services / PremTel Ltd
- ChrisI also had the exact same phone call on my bill (I live in SE7). I phoned Virgin Media last night and explained everything. I asked the lady to come onto this website to read everyones experiences and she did straight away and rightly put it in for a refund (credit note).
She is also reporting it so that it is investigated and I hope the police catch those responsible as I'm sure they will have made some serious money through people not spotting it on their bills.
