I was contacted by Easy Loans too and they assured me they didn't take an upfront fee, with some reservation I went through the loan process with them waiting for 'the scam' to rear it's ugly head. The girl went off the line for a few seconds then came back and said 'Good news, we've found you a loan company called Blue Letter Loans' she then went on to explain that I had to call 09065150339 to go through the application process with them AT £1.50 PER MINUTE!!! She assured me that if they couldn't help I could claim the cost of the phone call back from them... like I was going to be stupid enough to phone them in the first place!!! If anyone is gullable enough to fall for that one then they really deserve all they get, or in this case don't get! NO reputable company would charge you a premium rate to call them if they were genuine, it's just another way of paying an upfront fee, except in this case it's paid through your phone bill and then you haven't even got the protection of your bank or credit card company to claim the money back if you say you've been scammed. AVOID AVOID AVOID!!!

I received a text message for someone called Chris from Blue Letter Loans and then they said they received my application and needed me to call 0800 111 4797. Then when the call was about to finish they gave me a premium rate no which is 09065150362, when I asked why I have to call thus number the man said it is the last place to call and that the "loan" would be transferred within 2-24hrs and the call will last 15mins. They did not mention anything about a refund of the cost of the call. It smells to much like Cash Finance Direct in Stockport, I will not call this number at all. No genuine company would ask you to call a premium rate. They are very similar to Cash Saga and Oxford Chambers. Maybe anyone who receives this kind of nonsense should ask them if they are a member of the FSA and whether they hold a Consumer Credit Licence.

There is no company called Blue LETTER Loans listed at Companies House. There is a company called Blue Letter in Altrincham but it supplies scientific instruments. I agree with anesrlier poster that this has the earmarks of Cash Finance Direct's scam.

Hi, I am in the same boat, I was called from a company called Loanspotter on the 15/12/2014 told I had been successful for a loan and the papers would arrive in the post for me to sign which I could e-mail back to them, I was told there would be an admin fee and gave my details for this to be taken on the 24th Dec, once my loan would of been paid, I say would of as I never received the documents and so I called loanspotter to inform them on the 22nd Dec and they were closed for Christmas until Jan 4th 2015. I had arranged other funds through a family member at that point so no longer needed the loan but was concerned they would still take the payment which they did on the 24th Dec for £67.99 I had been told it was £20?? So I sent off my compliant letter to loanspotter and on the 4th Jan called them, they had no record of the payment and told me to send in my bank statement which I did, over 2 weeks later of calls and e-mails I was told by them that it was loanslane that had taken this payment, having checked back through multiple e-mails and texts that I received since that one phonecall,  I have no record of any connection to loanslane and have no member account with them, they now are not answering the phone, so I was too stumped as to how to get this payment back? I called my bank and they have told me that these companies have a legal right to tell you if they have passed your details on and if they deny it, then the Bank will start a fraud inquiry on my behalf. Loanspotter told me they absolutely do not work with loanslane and never pass details on so I am now going through the fraud inquiry. I hope this helps someone else to claim back money that should never of been taken, it's shocking how they pry on us folks who are obviously in financial difficulties and cannot afford to lose precious funds from their banks!
