Hi there Kate! Got the same letter from these people telling me to call this number, 09061580298, to get my 'claim number'. I sent a letter back requesting for it, even though i suspected it might be a scam. I sent a letter back to them requesting for it and i sent it with a 41p stamp on the envelope a 41p stamped self-addressed letter so that it would get to them in 2 days and also so that i would receive a response in 2 days.
However, the response was due to arrive YESTERDAY BUT it didn't show up! That's when i decided to check them online using the PO Box address and postcode on the letter they sent to me. That's when i came across this website. I'm glad i came here. Now i know better, i WON'T have ANY DEALINGS WITH THEM EVER AGAIN

I received the same letter in a package from a book club it sounded good but as I found out it all a scam, the phone number was different but the address was the same

i received a letter from uk allocations office ross on wye hr99zu the phone number i had to contact was 09061580456 it claims that i have won two prizes and to contact them in order to redeem validation codes it would appear to be the same fraudsters that other writers are informing you of but with another po box and phone number i'm glad i googled and checked i may have a physical disability but i certainly am not mentally impaired  thes letters appear on a quarterly basis and are a subject of irritation  i thought they would have got the message when i ignored so many before but they are persistant and annoying , my latest letter arrived today wed 3rd nov 2010  so be aware they are still trying to scam you out of your money.

I have been receiving these letters for the last five years.I thought p.o box 78.  Ross-on Wye .it must have cost them in wasted paper and postage, but they keep trying hoping i slip up and make that call to 090 number. Lets all ignor them at their expence.

I too have received many of these letters over the years but have always ignored them. There are numerous phone numbers(all premium rate) and frequently people ask why do the authorities do nothing? Could it be because of the rake off that phone companies get from these activities; it must come to a sizeable sum.

yes and the Royal Mail's 'rake off' from the charges for delivering the bulk mailings.

sent off for claim no as wont phone did get it in the post but have to send £6.50 insurance and p&p DONT THINK SO

I'm going to send an SAE to claim my code and wait 28 days to see if I get anything. Its worth a stamp, surely.

Well I'm another one who got one of these stupid letters, this is my third now and with all these things I always check online to see if there are any scams reported and I am yet to find one that hasn't been!

lol just googled the post code HR9 9YP on mine and its showing me "stagecoach agency".

Thanks all of you, today on 02/02/2011 I received a letter from Unclaimed Prize Rollout (ECRED24c) PO Box 107, Ross-on-Wye, Herefordshire HR9 9YP, tel: 09061 580909.

The content reads as follows:

Dear Mr Abdul xxxxxxxxx

Thank you for completing an online survey. I can confirm that it has been filled in correctly and is fully valid. As a result you are entitled to receive a prize or award.

     You have been allocated one of the following:

Guys, they look to be very genuine but I don't beleive what they are claiming to be. So whtch out and be carefull. Never call on 090 or text on such nos, never give out your personal details i.e. your full and real name, address, date of birth, bank details, emails and telephone numbers to anyboday claiming to be from a prize or award operation organization.

this is a scam i received a letter from this same people claiming that i have won a prize.

I got the same letter today 09/02/2011 mine went straight in the bin.

I have been receiving letters from this company for a few years now., telling me I have won a prize and to ring the above number to claim it.
First time I replied the call cost me £7.00+ have ignored all letters since, but they STILL keep coming. Cannot SOMEONE do something about it?
