I am an idiot! I have received a letter from Unclaimed Prize Rollout and "won" a camera. It seems that I wasted around £15. Not much, but still not pleasant. Never again!

Extract from a letter:

...  You have been allocated one of the following:
    £25,000 Cash x1, a£10,000 Car (or£10,000 Cash) x5, an HD Ready Digital LCD TV (or£1,000 Cash) x25, £1,000 Shopping Vouchers (or£1,000 Cash) x25, a Laptop Computer x100, a Digital Camera x10000+, or £100 Cash x100....

I'd like to know who these people are. They called my 86 year old blind friend from 09066 614057 and asked her to call them back, which unfortunately she did, but she cannot remember anything about them. The call cost her £13 which she can ill afford.

Does anyone recognise the number ?

My elderly mum has received 4 of these letters since February this year.  She enters crossword competions and beleived she had been a lucky winner.  Fortunately, I became suspicious when I read the cost of a one minute call and so decided to google the address as couldn't find the name of the company/organisation on the letter and thank goodness I did.

Told I had won a camera last year, followed instructions and am still waiting for it to arrive.
I advise anyone to ignore the letters or you will lose out in the long run.

I am sooooo glad I looked at this site - whilst things are so bad I have been filling in online surveys and was tempted until I saw the phone call would take £1.53 a minute!!!!!  Thought I'd google and ended up here - this letter is not in the bin but I am reporting this Scam Company (if you can call them a Company!) - Hateful people making money out of the vulnerable -

I've had two letters now all similar to the samples already given.  I like the idea of sending them a blank envelope so they have to pay the postage but I suspect they wouldn't bother collecting it!  They are just hoping for people to be caught off their guard all those few pounds add up.  Can't understand how they are still allowed to do it

I am a 64 yr old pensioner, i received quite a few of these letters last year from Unclaimed Prize Rollout, they make it sound so good that many people will be taken in,one of my friends did send money and never heard another thing. I have just received another letter this morning so it is starting again,it is such a shame how they can get away with doing this to people but what can we do toput a stop to these fraudsters but what can i do !!! so fed up prob be pestered with loads of letters again this year,wonder how many poor people have been taken in, not me !!!!

just recieved my 3rd letter from these idiots from PO Box 63,ross on wye,HR9 9WX phone number is  09061584136 and the letter is signed by Richard Morgan,how are they still allowed to work this scam ???
The old saying "nothing really comes free" is true so people do not get pulled in by these evil people who are just lining their own pockets at other peoples expense.

Why is BT letting this bunch of cxxxts have 090 number? Is it because they make money out of this scam as well as the conmen? Shame on you B.T. and the web site providers for not checking the content of this sort [***] companies. They are give you a bad name. Or could it be that India is too far away? Stop letting them con families and the disabled. Come Google, Bing and all web site providers do something.

i have had several letters from the prize directory  they want me to telephone  09061580113  no way would i phone them  but older vunerable people may.  something should be done about these maggots who exploit hard working people who get their money by honest means.  it makes my blood boil!!!!!
