- TomI keep getting calls from this number and its really annoying me. I call back only to be told by operator I'm not authorized to dial this number
- 10000000000I receive calls from the spoofed 10000000000 frequently. There are others, like marketing firm "L & D Marketing" of 10500 University Center Drive, #143 Tampa, FL 33612, that use numbers such as (813) 899-1569 Office: (813) 899-0717. Often these companies are phishing for or verifying target numbers, and some are in dirty markets, (like soliciting children--they will hang up on an adult but stay on the line with a child.) Random marketers are dangerous, and don't want to be tracked for a reason: they are usually operating illegally.
I hate telemarketers, and marketing professionals in general, and hope to soon see them lined up and shot, preferably where other marketing 'professionals' can watch. Until then, my fancy new smartphone has a "reject number" setting. I use this for several numbers now.
I now use a made-up phone number at all times I am not dealing either with family, a close friend or when required by law. Most government agencies have no right to ask for your phone number (and if you choose to give it to them, it generally becomes public information.) I suggest that you never give your actual and current phone number to any company--including utilities, retailers, credit companies, or anyone--or government agency (except your local police or court as required,) as you really don't want to talk to anyone of those people anyway.
The one exception: get on the "do not call" registry, and update it every year. https://www.donotcall.gov/
then when the marketing [***] call, complain frequently. By all means, complain every time they call. That may help make up for all the people who don't take the time, and the 'enforcement' arm of the FTC only watches statistics.
For email, get a throwaway google email account for doing everything except contacting your family and close friends.
And when you do get spammed, make up a generic, vaguley threatening legal form, and send it to them. This seems to scare off the marketing jerks about 90% of the time.

- JETAMESTo everyone -
Fact 1 - the DNC list CLEARLY does not work! Everyone knows this...or should know this!
Fact 2 - filing a complaint with the FCC does not work! A total waste of time. Done that.
Fact 3 - having an unlisted phone will not help you.
Fact 4 - asking/begging telemarketers to take you off their call list does not work!
Fact 5 - no "class action" suits are filed and certainly, this is not a remedy. Many of these telemarketers are in other countries and out of the jurisdiction of the USA.

**** PLEASE DO THIS! PURCHASE A CALL BLOCKING TELEPHONE!!! ****
Call blocking phones are very inexpensive $40-$60 and they come with, at least, one wireless handset. Very, very convenient.
************* DON'T GET MAD – HIT BACK! ************
STOP BEING ANNOYED - STOP BEING A VICTIM - BUY A CALL BLOCKING PHONE!
Uniden and Panasonic make CALL BLOCKING telephones. They’re cheap - $40-$60 and they usually come with a 2nd. wireless handset. And they work beautifully! These phones also block “PRIVATE”, “OUT OF AREA” and "UNKNOWN" calls!!!
I have had the same home number and the same business phone number for over 15 years and my home and my business lines (both published) seem to be on every imaginable call list. I bought a Panasonic call blocking phone for my home and I bought a Uniden call blocking telephone for my business.
NO MORE PROBLEMS WITH TELEMARKETERS. THEY CAN’T GET THROUGH!
We can stop these telemarketers IF we all buy a call blocking phone.
