I just recieved a call from them. I didn't answer. BUT I did notice that I have givin my number away for signing up for lifescript.com (bunch of junk mail) and also my bf has been posting my number on craigslist these last two weeks. :/ ill just block it. But I highly recommend not answering it and block it if you can.

I got a call from the same number. They said it was amy from.a us government branch. Its a scam

received 2 calls in 2 days from this number   on my cel.. last time at   7:23 pm  fri oct 25  to vancouver bc,  first  24 oct at 1:06 pm  vancouver   the first time no answer; when I picked up  tonight ( second call) got someone on the line  sounded  perhaps  native  and / or french canadian  when I answered as  RCMP Surrey  there was a pause I managed to keep them on the line for a few minutes  first he said he was looking for Jack,  but then it became Jacque,  then it was just  a friend...I asked his name but he was very defensive about why and finally ( with a lot of other peopel in the background talking  and pauses   said thank you sorry to bother and hung up     the number  has been traced and the conversation recorded

got a call from 10000000000, answer it and it instantly hangs up and says i missed the call.

I live in Mississauga Ontario (Canada) I just received a call from this number, I answered and it was some guy telling me that I have a serious error on my computer..I said ok let me go over to my computer..he started to tell me what I should do.
I then asked, what kind of error message did you receive from me and on what program. He said you have a windows 7 program, So I asked ok so tell me what make my computer is...He hung up!

Carefulel people what kind of information you give to random people that call!!

I just received a call with someone actually speaking lol and I told them I was dead lets see if they will stop calling

001000000000 this is the number that calls me at least 6 times a day everyday!!! When you answer there is usually a long pause before they speak by which time i am just about ready to hang up. I have now learnt that if there is a pause before someone is speaking it's a telesales company from overseas somewhere, so now soon as i hear a pause between them speaking from me answering i hang up because they never take no for an answer or as soon as you say you're in a rush they hang up very abruptly and ignorantly

I got a call from this number 1-000-000-0000  and they said it was from Microsoft saying that I was downloading lots of things and I can be in the verge of someone hacking onto my computer. They asked me to turn on my computer on and stuff but I was like no I can't . Then the guy asked me why I couldn't turn it on. But I made up some lie  and he said he was gonna call again. This was creepy because I don't have Microsoft on my computer..

there are apps thst will allow you to put any number you want up on the receivers caller id fairly common apps at that...

They keep call,but I don't answer. Strange phone number.

Got a call from 1-000-000-0000 2 times at 1:52 in the afternoon one right after another and they left no message. Don't know who it is but a number like that can't be good. I will be blocking it from my phone.

Keep receiving a call from 000-000-000, I never answer and they never leave a message.  I have no idea who they are and they call 2 or 3 times a day...has really got me pist off.  

Received this call this morning telling me if i have a computet it is going to blow up this aftrtnoon

I've got the same call at 7 am and surprisingly she asked me if I'm Sarah.  When I asked who is this she just hung up the phone. I was sleeping when she called and really freaked out. I think I am going to ignore it from now on.

I get this call often on  my cell phone, but I have a blocking app that blocks calls from unknown numbers, so the phone makes a noise, but doesn't ring, and the number is not displayed in the recent calls list, but it does display 1-000-000-0000 for a second if I look quickly at the phone.  There are quit a few good call screening/blocking apps if your cell phone uses apps.  On my home phone I pay to block unknown numbers. I am not sure who calls, but I assume it is telemarketers that are hiding their real numbers. Anyone can pay for a service that "spoofs" your name and caller ID to trick those you are calling, but I wouldn't pay for that service. Telemarketers and collection agencies pay for it though. Just never answer and never return the call. That is just wasting their time and money trying to get a reaction from you...so ignore the idiots.

They are trying to get you to put commands on your computer that will allow them to hijack it, and perhaps steal your information, or use your computer for illegal purposes.  I have had that call, and I said..that is funny...I don't have a computer or Internet. They just hung up after that. Never do anything with your computer, that anyone you don`t personally know and trust, asks you to do. You did the right thing!

I've gotten enough calls from 000-000-0000 to know there'll most likely be a foreigner on the other end posing as a fake tech support technician. I enjoy toying with the scammer, such as playing along with him before telling them I have no computer. Blare music or use an air horn or whistle on him.
