James will not be replying, he was here once 10 years ago. This thread is 13 years old.

What would you conclude based on the fact that is a spoofed number that can not be called back? And probably can't be blocked.

    Let me make some suggestions:
    - The number is used by numerous scammers for a variety of scams.
    - Finding out who called you is virtually impossible even for experienced techies and scam busters.
    - Ignore the call. Try blocking. Review you phone security protocols.

As I was driving my cell phone rang and on my bluetooth screen on the dashboard showed
1-000-000-0000 calling unknown. I don't answer spoof numbers like that. Everyone knows 0 is for the operator. I have blocked that number to my phone. No more.

today 7/9/2021 at 8:20pm rec'd a call from 1-000-000-0000 stating its PG&E. Two part message as the middle made no real sense and the end was something about no more power outages at this time. During the message it states to press this or that number but then goes into leaving a message. This doesn't seem legit to me

My mistake, this message was indeed from PG&E. Its not like the others we've rec'd so I thought this was bs. We rec'd a 2nd one stating that PG&E was now going to rotate power outages due to high temps.
