100-000-0000

Today March 2nd was the second time I received this number.  No one talks and then hangs up.  I tried calling back but its said the number you called is out of service.  If it was out of service how could it call
anyone?  If you have the option in your phone capacity, just block the number.

I have been getting dozens of calls where the caller ID shows "1000-000-0000.  Two of them I picked up a few days ago. One was from a woman with a very heavy accent, asking for me by an incorrect version of my name. I told her never to call this number again, and hung up.  Later that same day, I got a call with the same caller ID, a  young man, who was calling from a Right to Life organization, or at least that is what he told me.  I told him what was on the caller ID, and that it annoyed me that someone would call me without using phone equipment that identified the caller.  He argued that there was a time when there was no caller ID, and I ought to not be concerned with it. I told him to go away, and remove my phone number, and he said he would.  Today, I got another call with the all zeros in the caller ID, and this time a recorded message was left, from a group lobbying in favor of passage of the "Health Care" bill the President and the Democrats want to pass, and they left instructions to call congress, along with the phone number to use.  


I have come to the conclusion that this is not a "phone number" but rather, it is what appears on the caller ID when people use some new technology or another for generating phone calls, and this caller Id with all zeros in it can come from a dozen or more different sources.  In any case, the only intelligent response from us is to not answer, and if we do , not, ever, tell them anything about ourselves except that we are annoyed and want our number removed from their list.

Wtf is this number calling mean i picked up and it wuz asking for my dad then i said he wuznt here so then i started saying why do u keep callin and the black chick wuz like dont worry about it so i started bitchin at her

I received a call from another number  listed on whocallsme (866-955-5838). when I realized it was telemarketing, I did what I do in that case -- pushing all the numbers and buttons rapidely and hang the phone.

Few minutes after I received a call from 1000000000, which I did not answer.

The first call might have been to check if there were anybody home, and the second might have been made by a computer with Skype ?? to a privite line, which is realy not expensive.

That could explain why some people hear voices when nobody is speaking through the mike.

Please don't let this upset you. This is a new way for solicitors to get to people who have a block on them. Just look and don't answer. The phone companies will come up with a way to put a stop to it. Call your phone company and complain. Everyone should do that so something can be done. I am sorry you have so many problems. i have received a call from 100-000-0000 number and they ask me my credit card number so they will be able to lower my rate interest ! they toll me they was working mastercard, american express or any card will do ! DONT SAY ANYTHING, DONT ANSWER THEM

This call came in at 3.36pm again for the 3rd time this week.

want to know who is calling and why. if i don't see a name to go with a number i won't answer,same as unknown nuumber,private caller or private...I DON'T ANSWER THESE CALLS.....

If you  get it as a text its someone sending it from an email address. So its probably ex-dudes new girl and typing his number... think about it... i txt myself from my work email and the number came out 000-000-000. the only reason i knew it was me was because i typed my number on the message... hope this helps... those are some serious text messages you are getting...

i got three calls, one after another by this number. who is it?!

Just got a call from that number but didnt answer it, should i be worried about identity theft or anything?

Id says 1000000000 Caller wanted me to confirm our address after he read it off to me.  Told him I am not authorized to confirm that information.  He told me he was affiliated with Discover and I HAD TO NOW give him my name so he could complain to my supierior.  Told him my employee handbook didn't say I have to give my name.  I am  required to ask your name...  He wouldn't give his last name.  Ended call with John.

100-000-0000 ? Had a few of these calls come in,, answered and nothing on other end, just static. What could this be?

this just happened now april on exactly 2:00PM - Canada

Got a call at 12h15 pm today (April 6th).

It's "Shane" from the "Corporate Travel Dept".

It said that I won a trip... and I had to call back to 1-877-532-3990. I Didn't call back. I don't know why they called me... I'm a French Canadian and my whole family is so... this is even more suspect.
