1002

I've been getting calls from these guys too, talking about grants and scholarships. When you tell them you're not interested they just keep going and get rude. When he said 'will you listen to me" i said 'no, you listen to me...' that set him off haha. Started cussing, calling me names then hung up on me. I have decided to have some fun with it next time they call (because I know they're gonna call again). Saw a guy on youtube really [***] a telemarketer because all he would say is "yes" over and over, sounds like fun. Oh, and try this too...pallapayal, paraparayan, and chamar are extremely derrogotory words in India, so much so that they actually banned them by law. That just might be they key to shutting these a**holes up

go to : do not call.gov and register your number and the calls will STOP :)

I have been recieving calls from 1002 and 002 , it rings once or twice then nothing, I've tried to call the number back because this is my company phone and didn't want to miss a customer and I get a message from verison wireless that this call cannot be completed as diled. Dose anybody know who this is and why they are calling?  I am also on the No Call List.

I keep getting called from 1002 for my boyfriend, when i ask who is calling or ask them to take me off their list they just hang up...i dont know what to do...they say they are calling from "college now"

The next day, I just recieved another call from 1002. At the same time my home phone rang and I answered the cell letting the home phone answering machine take the other. For the first time there was a person there whem I answered the Cell. The call was from someone that recruits for collages. I have been job hunting on the inter-net and I think that is where all of these calls are comming from. Connected to the number on my Cell 1002 is the number 800-675-7219 (on the home phone) which I called yesterday and told them to remove me from their call list to which they told me it would take 48 hours to remove.I think If any of you are looking for work on the inter-net that is where theese calls are comming from. My mistery I believe is solved, I will think strongly before useing the inter-net jobs sights to look for work.

I am on the do not call list and I get calls from 1002

I kept getting calls from 1002, I finally got to answer one day where I had service and was told I submitted information about schooling, which I didn't, I told them to remove me from their calling list, then 3-4 days later I get a call from the same # stating that I had wished to be removed from their calling list and it would just take a few minutes to do so and explained to do so they would just change my info to similar info, but not exactly mine, then gave me all the info. they changed it to and told me they would put me on with an advisor who will ask if this is my info to just agree that it is and when they ask if it's ok to have someone contact me at this info to say yes...WTF? so they changed my info to some other poor suspecting soul who will now also get bugged and I have to tell them its ok..no thanks, when he transferred me I hung up...the # called me back 8 times in a row...I didn't answer, if they changed my info then how do they know who to call...oh wait #'s still trying to call, so now its 10 times...wow they don't give up...not sure what kind of scam they are running but Im not playing...will call my phone provider and request it be blocked from calling me!

I was getting same calls and im on do not call list as well. I found a phone # (800-675-7219) that appears from this same place on home caller ID...so I called it and found out it's a place call Career Advisor....when i searched on google I found "Career Advisors" web site and at bottom of their home page I found this:

Career Advisors does not make unsolicited phone calls.  If you are receiving unwanted calls from a company called Career Advisor (no "s") it may be a call center located in Kansas. To file a complaint, contact the Kansas Attorney General's office at http://www.ksag.org/  or call 800-432-2310.


So for those of you that want this to stop, make a complaint with the Kansas attorny General....that's what Im doing.

When I asked for the 50 or 60th time for 1002 to STOP calling me, the little oriental told me repeatedly F you B----

Same number 1002 has called 3 times, i ignored all of them so they were missed calls. they do not leave a voicemail or anything. who is it?

the keep callin most of the time when i try 2 answer it jus hangs up anyway its a 002 and a 1002 the call all day long!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

I eceived a call from 1002.  A rude man with an indian accent. seemed angry when I told him the party he asked for was not available.  He didn't want to identify himself and said if the person is not there I should hang up.  So I did.

I have received numerous calls from this number today.  No way to call back and they don't leave a message. I call back they did'n answer.

I had them call me 6 TIMES today! They left me 2 voice mails saying " answer the f'n phone you b****!"
and the other one said "if you have the f'n guts you b**** you will answer next time"

What in the world is the problem with people like this. So we aren't interested!!! Get over it!

I just called my bank, they told me it is a known scam and there had been no changes to my account. My bank recommended calling my phone company and have them block the number for security reasons.

Twice today i have been called by this number....i don't answer and they don't leave a message...super irritating

My boyfriend finally answered the phone after about the 5th time they called.  He said "please stop calling this number...remove me from your list" and the guy said "You need to understand, you're a big talker but I'm a bigger guy". My boyfriend hung up and I've received 4 or 5 more phone calls since then. The caller has a heavy Indian accent and is very rude.

My guess is you're mostly like me and know a thing or two about our
Government and maybe you have voiced your opinions about them.
My point is, the "1800.675....." number is not who is calling you from 1002.
1002 is the government calling you attempting to get your information so that you can receive a govt loan.
Just give them all wrong info and send them on their way.
I told them that the person they were looking for doesn't have this number anymore but I'd be glad to give them "my" information.
So on and so forth, and I have had no more calls.

The +1002 and 002 numbers keep calling me and threatens to rape me... He also repeatedly called me a b*tch.

I have been receiving call from this number (1002) for the last 1 1/2 months. It is SO FREAKIN' annoyong. I have asked them nicely to place me on their "Do Not Call" list and they just hang up. Everytime they call, they ask for my nephew (who is 16, was applying for jobs online & used my number as the call back number). Just today, this Indian guy asked, yet again, asked for my nephew. I told him my nephew is 16, still in H.S. and that he pressed some button on accident.He is not interested in in furthering his eucation (since that what the Indian guy said he was calling about). He then told me "he's 16, why is he applying for a job. That is child labor" (HAHAHA!) I explained that in the state of Illinois, you can get a job at 16, he told me "No he can't". I told the idiot to Google it & I hung up. He then called me a few hours later & asked for my nephew. I told him it's not his phone & to put me on the "Do Not Call' list, he told me "No" (motherf****r) I told him I would report him to the FCC so that his company can get fined, so again, put me on the list, He said he wouldn't! UGH!!!! I SCREAMED SO LOUD " DON'T (PROFANITY) CALL MY (PROFANITY) PHONE AGAIN YOU (PROFANITY)." I never screamed so loud in MY LIFE! My throat hurt afterward.... So far no more phone calls, but who knows. I will be calling my carrier tomorrow to see how we can block this number.
