1002

I keep getting calls about scholarships and grants from a company called "College Now". I have asked repeatedly for them to stop. I just got a call today, and the guy actually used profanity. I would never repeat what he said, but it was disturbing. How can I get them to stop?

Annoying call from 1002, even reregistered on the nztional do not call list to see if it works, will soon find out

These people have called me at least 15 times today! When I tell them to stop they hang up and call back!!

How in the world does one get a phone number like 1002?  and how do you locate it?  Irritating calls - and being on the donotcall list doesn't seem to help at all

I got the same things, he said he was from College now about college grants when I told him I wasnt interested he wouldnt stop talking he insisted I verify information with his supervisor, then proceeded to tell me exactly what to say, even ordered me to write it down so I would get it right, when I refused and hung up he called back, I hung up again, he called back and my son answered and he told my son he was going to rape me (explicitly) in every part of my body, I called the police and the company College now in Greater Cleveland and complained, first the guy said they use a call center, then he said they are a small company with only about 30 employees and no one like that is employed the guy was Indian or Pakistani that called me, then he called back again today !

This number (1002) calls me four times a day, and I am afraid to answer my phone in case it is from overseas

They wont stop calling. Even if you change your phone number, they will somehow still find you again.   . However, some phones have the option to block #'s; THAT, gets the calls to stop :)

I received a call several weeks ago on my cell, It was a man claiming to be FBI. He a heavy Indian accent that makes it a little hard to understand. My concern is that they know my name and address some of my information, He said that there were complaints about me calling and threatening  and harassing people. I use my cell for work and personal calls.  The only numbers that show up on my caller ID is 1002.

They called me 3 times today until 4PM , how can I stop THEM. Not fair , to call me many times a day  STOP calling me, thank you

I've been getting calls from a company called College Now. There is no number that comes up, it says it's unavailable. AND I am on the Do Not Call List. They also called last Friday, and when I said I had told them then to take the number off of their list, the guy (who I swear the same one that called Friday, and with the same India accent), said it was his first time calling.

Now my son did do some college searches over a year ago. I'm sure this company called several times last year, but then stopped - only to start up again.

IF they call again, I am going to ask them the number and full address of the company (although I doubt I get it).

The calls for me come in on 90008 from Alex and Austin. Both have HEAVY Indian accents. I have asked them to stop calling but it doesn't work. They call on the average of 4 times a day.They say they are from college now.

These JERKS have been calling now for about 3 months. Each time I have told them that 1) My son is NO LONGER looking for their type of service. 2) To take this name and number off or their list, And 3) to QUIT calling. Out Of Area comes up on the caller ID, so there is no way I can block the number with our provider. One time, the guy even wanted to argue with me, telling me he had never called, when they had in fact called the day before. It's been a month now, and the calls are starting back up again. How do you report a number that they refuse to give you? And we are on the Do Not Call List, however, since my son filled info on one of those college grants sites, he basically gave his consent.
