Wow, a little racist and dramatic don't you think? Also, learn how to spell.

I have gotten several calls from this number 1002 & +1002 and was surprised to find so much on here about it! I have never answered because I never answer a number I don't know. There should be someone who can put a stop to this! They call day and night at any and all hours!!

Of course it's big brother! The federal government has to keep track of everyone, what they are up to etc.... What? Did you really think that this was really a free country? Ever wonder why some people struggle all their lives and never get anywhere yet others seem to just get up in the morning and success is waiting for them? It's big brother picking and choosing who gets to be a success and who has to be a failure................

I have received a lot of these calls. Same people and they're just as rude to me. I called AT&T and they're pretty much useless. I researched online and found out that you can report these calls to the FTC. Their website is www.FTC.gov We should all report these phone calls so the government can investigate it and make it stop! They woke me up this morning after working a night shift! Not happy.

From what it sounds like, these [***] are desperate for money. I feel sorry for the people who do get tricked by them.

it was ( +1002 number ) asian guy just like others which is suspicious......about changing schools and he could find better deals. Yeah I bet. Need to figure this out

This # has been calling since mid Dec. They used yo ask for John, I tell them there is no john here , they hang up. African -american voice. Last three times I posted this and said I think it is big brother, posting seems to mysteriously disappear. Let's see how long this posting lasts!

Still calling from last year!Funny thing is , everytime I post my comment(no bad language used), it seems to disappear! Especially when I say I think it's big brother.Funny and scary huh!I wonder how long this posting will last!

Got two calls so far at 2:29 and 3:47 from them... I've gotten calls from others like this before, so I just ignored them. I don't even know how they get my number...

I'm being harrassed by these guys now too. They called at 4:52 yesterday afternoon, and at 8:35 and 10:44 this morning. Then, at 1:34, I got a call from a restricted number. Had a feeling it was from the same people. Now, just a little bit ago (4:39), had another restricted call. Was so fed up I finally answered it. It was a guy with a heavy Indian accent, asking me about my college plans, saying he can match me with the perfect school and help with finances. He knew my first and last name, my city, and my zip code. He was asking if I was a U.S. citizen, which area of study I'm interested in, if I have my high school diploma, etc. He told me he was going to transfer me to an advisor. I told him no, I didn't have time to talk, and he said it would only take ten minutes. Was pushy about it. I finally said yes, he transfered me, and when the other guy answered I hung up on them. They called back instantly. Had a feeling it was a scam!! Don't know if I should answer if they call back again. Tell them off, or ignore it?

How can I stop these 1002 calls they say they are from College Search, they call 10x a day everyday they are driving me to change my GD phone number.  Help me

I got a call from the +1002 number on 1/13/2010. I think they got my number from me applying to classified ads for work, that is my guess. They called but no one was there.

add your numbers to do not call list then if they do you can report them. College Search called me yet again you can see from before from my earlier posting. Simply dont answer it, they will feed you any line of bs to keep you on the phone. They also call from many other numbers. Dont answer if you dont know number

Hey I just got a call from a 1-02 number with an Indian guy... He called me and identified himself as Wayne Jones he said in reference to a "financial matter". I hung up on him and when he called back and I picked up he said that his name was Peter Michaels, (same guy) I immediately was suspicious since I saw this number before and the person that time said it was for auto-loan. When I hung up on the guy he proceeded to call back five times. He left me a very disturbing message yelling saying he is calling from NYC's financial department (no business name) and that he has an affadavit and if I didn't call him to give him money I would be  "in trouble". His number is (646)8108652. I called him back and he said he would continue to call and leave those types of messages until I paid. I called him back and gave him a fake name and told him to give me the companys name and he hung up. How do I report this?

I'm telling you guys,and you don't have to believe me if you don't want to,but,it's big brother using your phones gps system to keep track of where you are at!

didn't recognize the number as anyone I knew, ignored it.  It just showed 1002 as the Phone #

When they call I just act like a crazy person until they hang up. It's fun. I use them as my own therpist :)

i got a call this morning and they were asking for someone else. When I told them they had the wrong number, the lady just asked if she could speak to the owner of the phone and I told her that this was but I am not Mike, who they were asking for. Then she continued to give her sales pitch as I said that I was at work and hung up.

this number has called my phone several times since yesterday morning, i refuse to answer it, how in the heck is +1002 or 1002 a real number? they never leave a message which obviously if it was important and legit they would give me a way to contact them. it's starting to get annoying and judging by the comments from the people who did answer when they called, it does no good.
