1002

I keep receiving calls from 1002. No messages are left. I answered once and they had already hung up. I just answered again and it was some guy with a thick Indian accent, saying they were doing some kind of consumer survey. I couldn't understand it when he said the name of his company. I said I didn't want to participate in the survey. He asked me why. I said I just don't want to participate and please don't call me again. He said he has to call me back. Then he said it was just a survey and he was not selling anything. I again said I did not wish to participate in the survey and please do not call me again. Then I hung up. He was still talking as I hung up.

1002 - calls my phone hourly from the education center. I have told him to talk me off his list and not call my phone again. He then calls and hangs up when I answer several times a day.

I have four missed calls from this number. It's a bit ridiculous. They never leave a voicemail or anything they just keep calling. I have yet to be able to answer it. I just want it to stop.

The calls need to stop!

I got a call today from 1002 the man with a very thick indian accent I could not understand the company name but he went on to tell me he was calling regarding my computer which had some corrupt files I told him he had 2 problems 1 I didn't have a computer (not true but he's not to know)and 2 I'm not bloody stupid I don't fall for scams, he hung up on me before I could! I wish there was a way to stop this I'm already registered with TPS, a helpful telesales man said when I told him I was registered that it's worth calling TPS every 6 months to ensure a good up to dae covrerag, makes no difference I get between 2&6 unregistered calls daily!

1002 just called, some fijian guy, asked if this was me, i told him no, he asked if this was a family member i told him no, he asked if i was the owner of the phone, i told him no. he asked who I was and I said thats none of your business. As I was hanging up I could hear him screaming, "EXCUSE ME IT IS MY BUSINESS..." I don't know the rest he was cut off.

Don't believe this [***], its a scam.

Received a call +002 6957 15504 this morning and no answer. Did anyone receive this number also?

this guy keeps calling   every minute

This individual from 1002,Frank, has called numerous times this fall(Aug-Nov 2012). He does have an indian accent. He said he had money for further education. Verizon says its spoofing. Why cant the phone companies trace this individual. I'm ready to pursue to the Attorney Genrals office. He refused to take my cell off his call list, refused to name a company. Lets all help and take him down.

They make money from caller ID. There are companies that host a called ID database. Every time it is used by a phone carrier they charge Verizon, or any other carrier, a small fee but when you make hundreds of thousands of calls a day it adds up. You are actually paying an extra fee on your phone bill to cover the cost that Verizon has to pay them for using their caller ID database.

If they get some sucker that falls for their scam then that is a bonus but that is not what they are really after, they just want the fee from Verizon. This is why they never stop calling.

I keep getting a call from this number!

Answered phone, but no one seemed to be on the other end.  I hung up after a few seconds.

They called and the guy was snotty because i was at work at 6:30 pm because i guess to him all women should be in the kitchen at home with 10 babies by then!!!! I told him that i did in home health care and it was none of his damn business what my hours where and he hung up! The next time he wants to call i will have a whistle and he is going to need a hearing aid after i'm done!!!!

I am calling Verizon Tomorrow!!! I am telling them if the calls don't stop i am canceling my phone! I am done with this third party bull crap!!!! so made if that guy was infront of me I would have a fine and jail time for sure!!! so mad!!! thank you for your post!

This number calls me at least 5 times a day

they have been calling all hours of day and night asking for my 10 and 12 year olds, we ask them to stop calling, they dont understand english i have been called a [***], a [***], to F off,
i have asked to stop calling take my name off there list. the phone # they are calling is my work like for our home busniss. this is not acceptable

Calls me twice a day. I only answered once and some Indian guy was trying to get into my computer! Scam!!!

Didn't  answer.  They don't have a complete  # witch tells me don't  answer that B.S. call.
