I received a call from 106, answered it and the recorded call told me to press 1, then told me my master card account was frozen and to enter the 10 digit number followed by the # key.  I hung up, clearly a scam...

wife and i both got a call from 106.  we didn't answer but found this site and found all the answers needed about this low-life scammer.

received a call from 106 and 06 about my banks both different bank hung up both time

These a$$holes called me from 106 at 2am, saying my Bank of America account is frozen or something  (I was half asleep). I just hung up

call from #106  stating "your bank of America account has been frozen"  I actually use a BoA card for work so I hit 1,  however the second it asked for my account number I hung up.  Hope this doesn't get someone

Got his too.  Said my account was locked and to hit 1 to speak with their 24 hr security department.  Just hung up.   Low life scum they are, just phishing for personal information.

Just received a call from 106. Didn't answer. They left a VM stating something was locked (couldn't understand what was locked) and to press 1 to unlock it. Sure I will.

Re my Bank of America acct. has been locked and I should press 1.  I don't use that bank.

This number called my husband's cell and said our Bank of America acct was locked, we use this bank so clearly I was concerned. I pressed 1 and when it asked for my acct# I hung up and called my bank to which they verified it's a scam. 8 hours later and at 10:30pm they called my cell with the same message.

I got a call from 106 last night.  I didn't know what it was so I didn't answer and they didn't leave a message.  After reading everybody's post it's obviously a scam, so I clicked on the i next to the missed call in my iPhones call history and I went down to the bottom and selected Block this Caller.  I don't want any of those 1am calls from this 106!

Just got the same call from 106.  Computer voice said that my B of A credit card had been frozen and to dial 1 for Security.  I hung up.  Wish these people would just foad.

I did the same but they told me my Bank of America acct was frozen.  Don't have one of those.  Contacted bank of America to report issue.

Don't answer it! It's a scam, to get your bank account. Your Bank of America account has been locked and we need your bank account number. They called my cell, my cell and dads and he is the only one with a credit union and not even a Bank of America account

Just got a call from this number.  An acquaintance, just today, won something from the LA radio station Power 106!  I thought maybe it was them calling to say I won something (even though I don't listen to that station).  I ended up not answering as they hung up very quickly.  I'm glad I didn't answer.

received a shut up I'mautomated call from this number tonight saying that they were from Bank of America in my account had been frozen and to press 1 I hung up

I received a call from the 106 number and did not answer.  This was yesterday on Feb 3 at 10 pm.  I had also gotten one previously on Jan 17 and had blocked it at that time.  It appears that blocking this number does not work!

This 106 number called my friend and basically said it was discovery and her account was frozen. Its basically trying to get your information because it eventually asks for your social. Just another scam for personal information.

Got a call from 106 at 12am. I didn't answer. I was on Craigslist on my phone so there actually might be a connection there. Weird.

Got one yesterday saying Bankof America. It went to my wifes phone who is not even on a Bankof America Account. It left her a VRU voicemail which she deleted. SCAM SPAM! I think some scam company got a hold of a large list of cell phne numbers because mine rang with same thing one day later. If course did not answer even

Oh and never was on Craigslist so that is not a connection
