I get called by this number at least twice a day. Says call comes from Salem, OH

for to weeks now my phone dont stop ringing num 123456789 if someone is trying to get hold of me abroad why this num come up is it to try and hid there num

The number is from Vietnam. They accidentally called me without their number blocker on!
According to wtng.info, any number starting with +84 164  xxxxxxx   is a Vietnam mobile with the company Viettel.

Ihave recieved a number of calls from +1 (234) 567-89 Salem CH on a number of occasions i have not answered checked out the number on internet and come across this site so am reporting  i hope this helps many thanks

keep getting calls from this number no-one at the other end sometimes 3 times a day several times a week ??? are they targeting particular brands of phone?? mines an i-phone on t-mobile network

Having read so many of your comments on this site I think I will continue to ignore these calls from    +1(234)56-789 Salem, Oh.  I know no-one in the States so there is no way I am going to answer it.  I went to the O2 shop to see if I could block the number but as I am using an IPhone it's not possible.  I assumed it was one of those "You have won a holiday" calls.  They have called 3 times so far.  very annoying.  Surely if all the people on this site have had the same problem someone should have done something about it by now!!!

As with message from @FREAKED OUT dated 1st August 2011. I have been getting loads of calls from (1) 234 56789 number and only during office hours during the week.

As Freaked out pointed out I too had been getting calls and texts from a company trying to get me to claim £3000 of insurance prior to this.

I am on 02 and they were very unhelpful ...they told me to dial 999 and make a complaint to the police... it's annoying but I'm not sure it's an emergency.

I've received a number of these calls but only one that i've answered, when i did answer no one there. I'm getting fed up with these calls and wish thay would stop.

I too spoke to 02 thay just told me to google the number, thats why im on this site now. i've never replyed to these calls and never will but thay are very annoying.

Someone is spoofing you. I'm not sure if you can or how to do it on the internet or other phones, but I know you can do it on the iPhone if you jailbreak.

There's an app called Spoof App that lets you call people from any number you choose and change your voice and even record the calls.

But yeah, someone is definitely spoofing you.

This number phoned me this morning at 10.50  No message left and googled to find out about it. Hence I'm here.

Weird people out there.  Also had phone calls regarding £3000 of a claim for an accident in the past 3 years.
No, the accident was 5 years ago and no damage done.Bunch of chancers and ambulance chsers.

1234 is the number that you call in the UK for the speaking clock, if you call the number that is what you get. For a time Tinkerbell read the time as promo for the last Disney film. It's evident that these calls are from VOIP servers that naturally use the binary 123456 etc as a preset base number. VOIP is used to save any call costs whatsoever. Answer the call, if you owe people money, do as I do and affect a Spanish accent and say "i no know who you talk bout, wrong nummer" works a treat :)

Have received hourly from this number today to my mobile. Stupidly i did ring it back once as it wad really bugging me - htey have disconnected each time i`ve answered.

Thery called several times They told me they were asking if I had any accidents recently. I told them to f**** off. But the line was bad the manner was poor and definably should be taken off the air?

they finally spoke back when i answered. they were asking about any accidents iv had recently. there was alot of background noise and she was asian.

I've had 6 calls from 9.48 until 11.39 this morning! It's rather annoying as I only got one at first, but I haven't answered any, so why do they keep calling? and I haven't done any kind of competition for anyone to get my number apart from my numbers on facebook but only my friends can see that, and I'm pretty sure it's none of my friends because I found out that they're calling off an app called spoof which you can only get on an iPhone (read about it on other forums,) and you can only get it on an iPhone not even an iPod and none of my friends have an iPhone so it's not possible it's any of them. Anyone know how to block contacts on the iPhone4?:/.
