I received a call from (123) 456-7890 the other day. An Asian sounding female asked for me by name and proceeded to represent herself as a representative of a computer repair firm and said that my neighbors were complaining about my download. She went on to say that if I would turn on my computer she could assist me in correcting my problem. I thought to myself, SCAM! and hung up.

Received a phone call ....it ended up being FBI...fta..

I got a call from number 123-456-7895,, the man asked for my husband,, and said he was from Windows error reporting and that I filed a report saying my pc was full of spyware and unwanted files...(completely untrue)  the man obviously wan't from america, then my call waiting beeped and it was someone else from the same number!! telling me the same thing!
I wasn't very nice with them and told them I knew it was a scam, and if they called back I would call the police...

Just answer "FBI counter terrorism field office" We have an armed agent en-route to your location"

I generally don't answer these calls, or if I do I hang the phone up immediately without giving the caller an opportunity to respond.

Wasn't in, but they left no information. No name showed up.

My mom's been getting a lot of these callls lately, and we have no idea who on earth would call, but not answer?? I guess lot of people! :/

we keep receiving a call from number 1234567890 very annoying not leaving any message and it is 5 times a day, is there one knows how to stop this call?

I have received this call.....the first time it wasn't from 123-456-7890...but same person asking for "Robert" I told them no Robert lives here.....got the same call again and told them they have called me several times asking for Robert and they hung up. Didn't know about the other horrible stuff that happens until I saw this post. Won't be answering that again!

Received a call from this number today around 3:40 EST United States.
I did answer but there was no reply on the other end.

I have received several  calls shown from 123-456-7890.  On several occasions there was no response when I answered.  Other times I get a person sounding to be Indian/Pakistani/Bangadeshi or similar claiming to be from an unidentified maintenance department reporting an inidentified problem that might cause my computer to crash.  On one occasion the person indicated he was with Windows maintenance.  The person is very difficult to understand.  I have claimed urgency asking for a phone number or e-mail to contact them back.  At that time the person becomes even less understandable.  Haven't gotten a return number of e-mail address yet.

I received a call from 1234567890.  I didn't answer becuz I figured it may be a sales call by someone blocking or sending out an incorrect caller id number.  It looks like a lot of folks received calls from that number.  I'm glad I didn't answer.

Received a call from this number... although my caller id says "11234567890". No voicemail. I've received calls from this number several times on and off though.

You should ask for THEIR password.

Received a call from this number on 2/28/2012 at 7:38PM.  We are in the Eastern part of the USA.  Did not recognize area code so I didn't answer & no message was left.  I looked it up on "Reverse Phone Search" and got a message stating that there was no such area code, but I think they only recognize valid USA area codes.  I then tried "Who Calls Me" and saw there are 21 pages dating back from 2007 to the present regarding calls from this number - holy crap!!!  Will definitely not answer if they try calling again.  I'm just surprised this is still going on - WTF???

this people have been callin me harrasing me sayin that i owe them money and that they have a file with my name and that im going to get arrested..i even went to a lawyer and he said its a scam

go a call from 1234567890 just a bit  ago claimed there was something wrong with my computer and asked me to go to some site and give them my creidt card information it was some indian sounding guy barly understood english at all
