Just got these [***] on my land line. They called, stated that they were from microsoft windows tech support, and that there were errors being reported from my computer due to infected files....Their very first instruction involved using Ctrl - R -Windows key, and entering a website....Since I wondered, as if getting a cold call from someone with such a thick indian accent that I could barely understand wasn't enough to raise hackles, why in the nine hells I'd want to directly run some random exectuable direct from an unknown website...I Googled their instruction sequence, and it pulled up a plethora of scam reports. A supervisor came on, and I confronted him to demand an explanation for wanting me to run an executable "Fix" that wasn't coming from an official microsoft site, and he hung up.

The caller claimed to be from Windows, had my name and address.  I lied told them I don't have a computer.  

Got a call today and they claimed to be from Windows, had my name and address, had heard of this scam so I just told them I did not have a computer.  

Just got the second call from them, nobody has answered either time.

Called asking about my home computer....asked him what this was in regard to...hung up.

I got a call today. Heavy accent. Said my computer has been hacked. These con artist come out from under their rock every few weeks and use these sort of scare tactics in order to gain access to your pc. Don't be taken by these crooks!

Pathetic...i hope no one ever falls for these idiots. I just got a call from them also but I didn't pick up. I'm located in New Jersey.

Got a call today.....just told them that they were scammers and remove my number from their list...had a call from same last week, my wife answered...she told them to "go to _____" and hung up!  Got something ready for them next time!

Said from Microsoft and that I have hackers attacking my computer. That they wanted to walk me through my computer and show me the problem. Not access. Just tell me how. Disrespectful. Said he got my info as registered customer using Microsoft operating system. Accidentally dropped call and they didn't call back. Not sure if Microsoft but have my doubts.

Got a call today...thick heavy Indian accent.  Man said he was calling from Microsoft Windows Tech Support in regards to a reported problem with my Windows PC...I said I use a MAC and he hung up.

7:20 am 12/23/2013 - Heavily accented caller identified himself as calling from "Microsoft Desktop Services". The gentleman informed me that my Windows machine had been infected, and asked that I please turn the machine on.  I refused, he went back to the top of his script.  I asked for proof of his Microsoft affiliation by providing any information that Microsoft may have about me or my company.  Long pause - "I will transfer to my supervisor", click - disconnected.

I am in Denver, CO.  Just like many of you, I got a call from this number, 201-338-6210, informing they are from Micro Soft and Mail ware is infected my computer and sending messages to them. I did not have time for them.  They said they are in Ohio or  something like that.  Be aware! Also had an Indian accent from India.  Next time they call, I will play with them, I know a little hindi.  hahaha...

Idiots keep calling earlier and earlier in the morning.  Will say they same thing about the computer that everyone else has said.

Have been receiving the same calls as everyone else here, at least 7 times in the past 5 weeks.  Told them to not call anymore at least 3 times, but they keep calling. Caller ID shows up as (201)338-6210.  When I asked them for a call back number, they provided (866)539-8674.  Another number that showed up was(201)845-6009.  I didn't call back and haven't answered recently.  Am hoping that they will stop calling.  It has been the same male with a heavy Indian accent.  The phone numbers are listed as VoIP numbs in NJ.  They are hackers trying to scare people into unknowingly giving them access to their computers.  They claim to be affiliated with Microsoft, but Microsoft confirmed that they would never initiate a call like that.

I got a call from them a few minutes ago. And yes, with the heavy india accent. I asked what company he was with, & he said he was calling from microsoft, in California. He said his name was Mike Handly(?). He says my computer was sending a lot of error reports, & ask about my computer I.D. I told him, yes, I knew how to find it, & asked him to tell me what it was. Then, I told him I could not understand him, & if they wanted to talk to me, to have someone call back that speaks English, & hung up. I figured that would be the end of it, but the phone rang again. I didn't answer, & they didn't leave a message. I checked my caller I.D., & they have called before, early in the morning while I was sleeping, but I didn't hear the phone.

Have seen this number on my caller ID missed calls numerous times.  I was home ill today and answered Heavy foreign accident...like many reports talking about computer problems and wanting to walk me through fixing it.  Let him go on for a while then hug up.  He called right back.  I didn't answer.
