Stop calling me to try and FIX MY COMPUTER.  I don't even own a computer!  I keep telling them that but they keep right on calling.  I'm a senior citizen and disabled and don't appreciate having to get up and answer the phone at 7 in the morning.

Got a call from this number 201-338-6210 - heavily accented Indian person telling me he was from Windows.  I asked where he got my number and he says this number is registered when you registered your Windows.  I needed to go directly to my computer and turn it on as it was 'very infected'. Kept telling me I did not need to worry as he was here to help me. I kept asking what company he was with and he said Windows.  Please. I kinda wanted to see what he would make me do on the computer.. I hope no one actually does.  If anyone knows if there is actually someone that can look into these scammers.
What dopes.  

These people call me weekly telling me my computer is infected.  This is a business and we have 4 so I ask them which one.  They tell me my home computer so I asked why are you calling my work if you found issues on my home computer?  Answer "Oh is this a business?"  "Yes." Oh I am sorry I must be wrong.  REALLY?!?!  I find that so hard to believe!

I've been receive a lot of calls from this No. Mike tells me he's from windows tech support. And my computer is sending out bad files. I ask the dude whats his phone No. He says its 1-800-539-8674 which is a porn site!!  dude calls again today, I told him he wasn't from Msn and to stop calling!! I then called microsoft windows tech center, and asked them if they had been calling. Th man said No!! They do not place calls to people, and it was a scam!!!!!

I live in Oregon and just received a call at 10:30 at night. He claimed My computer files had downloaded malicious malware/spyware. I asked him what he was talking about I am on a do not call list and did he know what time it was besides that I have a good virus service/malware service. And his response was he was from Windows and they had record of files I had downloaded that were corrupted. I said oh really. If he was from windows then he should be able to provide me his employee id#/badge #. I would call back when I discovered an issue. He said something and I said I call BS on this. He then proceeded  to tell me F^ck you (several times). I think I made him mad. Lol. But I do have to say I am a little offended that he ended up cussing at me like that. I was just making a statement to him that I didn't believe his crap when I said I call BS. I guess he never played the card game.

Heavy middle eastern accent speaking English.  "Your computer has reported it has virus and we need to help you remove them."  THIS is the same crap that my mother fell for and they INFECTED her computer!!!  I asked them for their credit card number, CVV code and name on the card!!!  Called ID said "OUT OF AREA".  Did not provide name or individual or company they were.  These are obviously democrats.  That's who lies, cheats and steals these days!

DO NOT FALL FOR THIS democrat RUBBISH!!!!!

Your computer manufacturer, operating system (Windows, IOS, etc.) software publisher, the place you purchased it from or any other related party or business will NEVER CALL YOU to tell you have a virus!!!   You must initiate any service call of this type by calling the company first!

Got calls from this number before 8 AM the last two days in a row, today is Saturday so we were asleep. "Frank" with Indian or middle eastern accent from Windows wanted info about our computer. Told him we used a Mac, he said "oh, sorry" and hung up. We are on Missouri no call list and I will report these idiots.

The people from this number calls before we're out of bed in the morning. Very frustrating.

They call every night for the last week.  First asking for someone I have never heard of, then one call telling me there is something wrong with my computer, or just hanging up.  You can tell the call is going to a boiler room with all the loud voices in the background.  Always a woman with a strong accent. I don't know what they are fishing for... but they are fishing for someone to take some kind of bate.

They called me and said they were from HP and had been monitoring my computer and hackers were trying to get into my computer.  If I would let them into my computer and 160.00 they would fix it and block my gateway.  Become aggitatated when I ? them ended up hanging up.  Think maybe they were the hackers and wanted my credit card #. BEWARE

I am very tired of these people calling here. They never leave a message, or say anything when I answer.They call atleast one a day sometimes more!

Got a call today.
A person who said his name was John Williams, though in a thick Indian accent, claimed to be from Windows wanting to fix your computer remotely due to some security breaches and viruses.
I immediately knew this was a scam to infiltrate and infect your computer. I hung up immediately.

Got a call last night at 11 PM from a heavily accented man from India. Said he was with Windows Support and wanted to know if I was the main computer user because my Windows Vista was infected and sending them reports. I needed to go to my computer immediately and turn it on.
I was quite suspicious because 1) I had never heard of Microsoft making this type of call; 2) he did NOT say he was with Microsoft, which I think they would if it was real; 3) we recently moved and I have not linked our current phone with any computer registration. He also had a wrong name and location.
I am glad my suspicions were confirmed by this site.

Called my home at 7 am and then my office at 7:40 am. Calling about my home computer. Told him to quit calling.

I am getting phone call from them  so often. I picked up once and talked to guy. he told me he is from window security or something. I told him to take me out from list but still I got today.

I received a call from 201-338-6210 from a man with a heavy accent and claiming he was from Microsoft.  He said my internet ip address was hacked and he wanted me to give him access to my computer so he could fix it.  I am an engineer with a strong computer background and asked him a few questions about how access to my computer could fix the problem.  He said something about my computer setting off blinking lights on his status board and only he could fix it.  Total SCAM!!  With access to my computer he could have done a lot of damage.

This scammer is not only targeting one specific area, but many and their annoying as heck.  This same idiot has called me over 4 times in a day back a few years ago. I just did not answer the phone when he called. I had not heard of him anymore until yesterday, when about 10:39 pm, he got me up out of a dead sleep!  I was sort of groggy but I immediately recognized his voice. Without thinking to ask what he wanted, I told him, "Go to hell."  He immediately responded, "You too, and thank you." & click he hung up.  The following morning, again he woke me up before the sun came up and after the fourth ring, I decided to answer but he had hung up before I could say hello.  A real jokester. Some people never grow up or mature.  Advice:  mark the number in your phone as a scam artist & don't answer the call. He is not worth the time of day to get upset over his stupidity, & that's exactly what plan to do. Good Luck All!
 

Indian accented "Jake" telling me they had received error reports from my computer at their "Global Technical Service Center" that my computer had been hacked. I knew this was a scam but played along to see what they were trying to get from me. He and technical supervisor "Dave" wanted to walk me through some "tests" and then if they discovered vulnerabilities they would sell me a "One Time Lifetime Fee" for technical support, but they couldn't tell me what this cost was until after diagnosis. Had me open the Run prompt and go into the Event Viewer and told me that all the thousands of Administrative Events and Windows Logs Events and Errors were evidence of my being hacked which could slowly lead to my system being taken over. Also had me run Certificate Manager and showed me my Trusted Root Certificate Authority --> Microsoft Authenticode Root Authority was expired (in 1999) and how this was how the hackers were gaining access to my system. As if!  After about 20 minutes of this foolishness I hung up, and didn't find out their ultimate aim - probably to install something on my computer so they could hack my computer.

i am disabled, and before i can open my eyes in the morning, the phone is ringing. i do not want to be bothered that early in the morning(7:30 a.m.)once i get to the phone. I can not understand a word that is being said, my BRAIN!!! is still asleep.
