I also just received the same call.  Who called me? Wer hat mich angerufen? 誰じゃ、名を名乗れ

I did request a Google verification. Code. However before I culd verify my Trusted Number I git a verification. Code .They. usual wait till you enter the number But Bam they were calling before my finger could tap out the number.When zI called back I got a ill static voice saying Nothing.I called Reverse phone , A Android app for free.Only info was it was Washington and all other info stated Not available!!
So folks I am going to report this number to the Deputies Station in the A.M EST
Hopefully I added more info to this Malevolent Google Scam.

I got a phone call from someone .i don't know them but they try to call me many time since last year until now .I don't want them to call me any more because my phone number is private.

Got a phone call at 12:44am and was greeted with an automated message giving me a access code??
What is the reason behind it?

Received a text message from area code 202 (don't have the rest of the numbers...) in response to a Craigslist ad we posted.  Pretended to be interest in the item and asked to call.  They called and it was an automated message that required a 2 digit code.... no idea what was going on.... but they did not buy our craigslist item!

Had 2 answer phone messages from this US number (I live in the UK). Each time, an automated female voice left a 6 digit number on my UK landline number and said Goodbye.
Although I have an account with Google, I've not done anything to my Google account to cause them to need to phone me and verify my number and account.

Received text from 702-996-0066 saying they were "urgently" interested in buying an item I had for sale on Craigslist. Asked if they could call me and I said yes. Then they text and said I need to enter code when call comes in as they are calling from a google phone . Call came in from 202-455-8888 but I ignored figuring a scam

Got a call from this number 202-455-8888 on Sunday, 4/23/17  Tried calling "owner"  Michael Leuz, but all I got was a recording that" this number is used for something, something authentication"    HOW did this scammer obtain my UNLISTED cell phone number?  Cell phone provider companies are NOT supposed to pass out their customer's unlisted numbers for any reasons!
