I was called by this unknown number on my mobile phone  on 05-08-' 17.
I did not take the call. I live in europe and i dont known this number.

this number is part of scam operation. i did not answer it as i did not recognise it

I got the same call from someone who answered a craigs list ad. What happens now? Unfortunately I did answer with a 2 digit reply. How can I stop whatever scam this is.

call re craigslist add and was texting me telling me to put in 2 dig number, they called 14 times in a row I finally got it blocked.

I believe you are 100% correct on your thinking. Same number same two digit code came to me within 2 to 5 minutes after posting items on craigslist. Has to be a total scam. Probably not set up that way by Google the people are using it for evil purposes.    Thank you for verifying my thoughts.

I posted an ad on craigslist and they wanted me to txt them a code back and click on the link to make sure i am a valide seller.  they hounded my phone for 10 minutes straight.

This person texted me regarding something I had posted on Craigslist. When they called the gave me a 2 digit code to enter because they were calling from a google phone. When I entered it, it said thank you for setting up your voicemail account!?! How do I undo this?? They also texted from 202-844-7300.

I live in the netherlands and I try to protect my gmail account for a longtime so I opted for the google 2 step verification. So before I can enter my gmail account the following number is calling me : 0012024558888 is this legit ?

Received a call from GOOGLE, on my home phone, on Nov. 18, 2017 saying to enter code number 378082 to confirm my account.
I did not use this code since I have not asked for any confirmatoin what so ever. Besides, GOOGLE would answer by text, not by phone, and especially, I have not given GOOGLE my home phone number in any way!

I placed an ad on craigslist and I got this call to, I’m worried as I enter the code and it said your account is now activated? What does that mean ? Does someone  have access to my personal stuff now ? I block the caller but I’m still worried?

I placed an ad on craigslist and I got a call from this number and entered a code given by another phone number (520) 363-3564.   Then it says the account is now activated.  I am worried now and not sure what is going to happen?

It's Google.  They called with a verification code I requested to change the password on my account.

Placed an ad on craigslist and received a text from 289 270 1037 if they could call me, I replied yes and then started receiving numerous call from 2024558888 to enter two digit pin

They intend to use your number to set up a Google Voice account.
