I too,have been scammed by this Gov issue grant group. Luckily I looked this number up first and did not send them any money. They get your info from filling out online applications for grants like USfundfinder.com.  Be careful as not to give any application your bank or credit info online or over the phone. Good luck to those who lost money and are trying to get it back.

these people are a joke they wanted me to pay $300.00  deposit at western union in order to receive $7500.00

I just received a call from a 2025597624 and they told me the exact same things as everyone else on this page these people really need to get caught!!!

I found this to be scam but was a little smarter than them.  I actually gave them a valid debit card number and information but I removed the card from my bank account and ordered a new one for my direct deposits to be going to and nothing to go to the old card.  I never sent them any money and the lady was a little upset.  She was calling from the Verification Dept but would never give me a name of a company. The number they told me to call was 202-559-7624 with a A1075 number as reference.  They wanted me to send them 275.00 western union and she would stay on the phone with me while I went to the western union and the 5 to 10 minutes to transfer the money which would then be retransferred to me along with the $7500.00 in the 5 to 10 minute transaction.  She said the security was for verifying that the bank account, card was active.  I told her it didn't take 250.00 to verify that and it could be done with $5 or even $.01. She said everyone was doing it this way for security and I told her that everyone wasn't smart and for her to lose my information.    She was of foreign decent, seemed to be Indian to me, with the accent.  It's Christmas time and these lazy no good folks would rather try to steal your money than get up off their fat, flat behinds and do some hones work.  They are so pathetic.

I just received a call from (530) 559-1657 about this so called $$ from the U.S. Grant Department also with a callback number of (202) 640-5461 and a code that I was supposed to give them when the manager answered the phone on my callback. When they hung up I tried to call the number that the call originated from and it was a Verizon Wireless number that had been disconnected! The woman could hardly speak english and I also kept asking her to repeat herself and told her that I could not understand a single word she was saying. People are so pathetic to be doing this to others who may fall for their scam. Its a sad, sad world!!

What sucks it's that it's going on for years, how many people fall for this and with so many reports why can't we do anything, I know why? It seems we are not the same US we used to be

They back at it again I got 50 calls in one day and decline to even speak from the first time I had a conversation I knew it was a scam beware there back just say no no no ...... : )

I got a private call and answer,it as a woman with an accent, she said the government chose me for z $7000 grant for not having a criminal record and paying my taxes on time. I'm late right now on my taxes and have a record. She said I could spend the money on school or home renavations, not to spend it on things such as gambling.I told her it sounded like BS because our government is broke. She asked dud I want it deposited n my account or pick it up at western union. She gave me confirmation # And her managers #,needless to say I disregarded it.I feel sorry for the people that fall for it. How do they get all ur info like that?

I just received a call as well this is total fraud and is BS!!!!! I cant beleive that people are really that desperate and trying to take money from people that are single parents and unemployed. I am so glad that I researched first.......omg

I got the same call thet said that I won tax free money from the government they gave me a grant id number and told me I had to talk to his boss to receive the money then they said I had to western union them 289.00 and wen I said something Bout them tring to scam me the lady hung up

got call for my son....202-677-8479....government chosen a lifetime grant.....caller with indian accent?.named   johnson davis #26...said would only speak with my son  would need his government issued id # and nearest bank to send him his money from government.........told him i thought was a scam...he assured me was not... tol him to call me back tom. lol.....wanted to research... not giving my sons #..told him for free sounds too good to be true and if it was already rewarded  they should not have problem waiting a week till i spoke with my son...but he wasn't liking it soooooo...am assuming from reading here this is a scam

I'm on the phone with them now and its funny cause i'm reading this. I was choosing and thousands of people are receiving this money  but you have to send them 89.00 to secure yours????? than they will send you the money. not walking to a western union to even find out.

So did they send you any money cause i have plenty of pre-paid debit cards?

Got a call from 416364111 telling me the same thing but that I needed to call 2026405461 and give them the loan number of SM592! Seriously people? Hey, I could REALLY use $7500 grant, but how stupid do they think people are? Then again, I wonder how many people of fallen for this! I also want to know how they got my maiden name, city and state, and my cell phone number. Funny though, they did NOT get my street address correct! LOL if they are trying to steal my identity, its gonna such for them cause my credit is screwed! Idiots!

This is a SCAM! They keep calling ur phone "unknown" till u answer! Do not give them any info and just say no because they will steal ur hard earned money! Luckily that didn't happen to me but don't let this happen to u!
