I just received a phone call from this number, after many and many times of avoiding this number because it comes up as "Scam". I finally answered and yep, as I've read here already, it's a scam in an Indian, from India, voice saying they're from the Government Grant something or another. I told them you're a scam, don't call me again and hung up.

Multiple calls to my cell

Received a phone call from this number. I call it back and get a busy signal, and when it does ring, no one answers. So I sent the person a text message asking who it was, no response. This type of person needs to be exposed and a bullet put into their head.

This is a scam. Lady with poor English says have been selected to receive money and got mad when I said I was reporting her.

I just got a call from the same Indian woman and I told her to remove me from her call list and she said I am NOT going to and I said why not I said that is my right to ask you to remove me and she said I cannot remove you because the government told me not to. I told her that was the craziest thing I've ever heard of that we all have a right to refuse calls on a personal phone. She came back with if I wanted to do something about it then I could report them to the FBI and that would be the only way they would take my number off of their call list. I think this lady should be taken out back and walked with a stick for talking smack like this. I've got better time then to talk on the phone for business only for some BS that I told her I was not interested in any way.

A man  with an Indian accent called from this number asking for Antonio.   I told him sorry, you have the wrong number.   He replied "you are the one who will be sorry, because we will hurt you!"   I immediately screamed at him to go [***] himself.  He hung up

Any call from 202-657-6869 or 202-681-8664 is a scam do not give any personal information

The same indian sounding man called, I immediately asked him to take me off of his call list.   He replied, "why"   I said, "because I asked you to, please don't call this number"  his reply,  "FuXX You."    As you can imagine, I immediately tried to find out who this was, that had the nerve to speak to me like that, because I didn't want to buy whatever he is selling.   Found out everything above......Seriously folks, go get a job like the rest of us hard working, tax paying Americans!   Or, go back to whatever country you came from, and steal from your own kind!!!!!

My husband's cell phone rang with a call from this #.  The caller ID showed that it was a call from Washington DC.  We typically don't answer any calls from numbers that we are unfamiliar with.
We chose to answer the call as we have 2 sons in the military (always on high alert).
The male caller with an odd accent and was hard to hear asked for (illegible)
I asked:  who?
He said:  Sam (illegible)
I asked :  who?
He said:  Sam (illegible)
I said:     You have the wrong #
He replied:  F#@k you! And hung up.

I received a call from an Indian man claiming I won an $8500 grant, gave me some info and wants me to go to a western union and then call the number he gave me...

This number called me and said the government picked my number to award me thousands of dollars I don't have to pay back and when I started asking questions they hung up. It was a lady with an accent.  This isn't the first time she called. The first time she left me a message a few days earlier from a different number offering the same thing. First my last phone gets hacked then my new number and different phone gets called with scams.  Come on us we have to come up with some ways to stop these scams from getting threw and put a stop to these a holes. I almost thought it was fasfa calling me back.

I have gotten a phone call too from this number. I was just about to go to walmart at their money gram office but im glad i didnt. I have a feeling they were scamming me so i decided to google the number their calling from and this is what i found. Thank you.

How do they even know a person's full name to even say they just called me off the rip I knew it was a scam

Received a call from 646-703-4782 (NY) East Indian man accent stating that I was randomly chosen to receive $8,500 grant.  Asked to verify my address, age and married or single.  I hung up on him.  Within 5 minutes I received the same call from 202-657-6869 with the same spiel. This time it was from a woman with an East Indian accent.  She gave me a money ID Code and said to pick the money up at WU.  Before I could pick up the money I would have to call the Financial Officer at 202-681-8664.  If it sounds too good to be true, it usually is.  I did not call the number.  Knew it was a scam.

I just received a call informing me my 13 year old son was approved for 8500.00 grant. When i asked how he knew my sons name he said they dig up information. Creepy!

Indian or Pakistani man telling me he was from the US Government I was randomly selected to recieve 8500 in grant money from the U.S. government. Funny, I had to provide personal information, when the federal government just sent me my tax refund based off the information I filed less than a month ago. Oh, you need my bank account number? Or you want ME to provide you a prepaid card number to load it onto? Scam. Scam. Scam. Scamscamscam.

Female with foreign accent said I won a grant from the US government,  I figured it was a scam because I've received grants from the government and you don't "win " you have to apply,  my mistake was saying call me back later because I was at the dentist,  after I thought about it later I realized it's a scam.

I just received a call from the mid eastern sounding gentleman. Stating I was selected to get an $8500 grant, that doesn't need to be paid back because I have paid my taxes, and bills on time. He knew my name and address which scares me. I asked him how do I know you're not a scam? He again, states he is with the US government grant dept, and that 1900 other people in my area have been selected for this once in a life time offer as well. I asked if he had a website or a number that I could call to verify this information. He then gets an attitude with me and says I will call you back later because I need to notify all of the other winners in your area that actually will want the money, and hung up. SCAM. I am reporting him to my local sheriff dept. You think that the actual government would look into this, since they are pretending to be from there. Be careful everyone.
