A guy with a foreign accent called - when I asked who he was, he said it was with the US government and hung up when I said I was not interested

Got a call from this number, they called me and said I won $8500 in grant money from the federal government. The guy had a French accent and very pushy about this. This is a SCAM. He could not articulate what branch of the federal government he was calling from.

I asked what they wanted and she stated she wanted to F*** me

Received a call from this number - the man said he was a "supervisor at the US Treasury Department" and that I'd won a $8500 grant. I asked him if he knew my name or why I was receiving the grant. When he said that he didn't know the answer to those questions, I told him that the government doesn't award grants to random citizens. I told him to find a better scam where he at least knows the names of the people he's trying to swindle. He told me to f*** off and then hung up.

My phone is a business line and I work with a lot of people in the 202 area code. I've received 2 of these calls this week telling me I'm getting an $8500 grant 'from US Government.' All I have to do is verify my personal and bank information. Right...  I just posted this on Facebook and blocked the number from calling me again. Please arrest these people before they really DO scam someone.

this guy just called me too. when I told him i know he was a fraud he started cussing at me, which was pathetic due to his command of English slang. I gave him an example of how to cuss somebody out, but i cant get them to answer the phone or find out what they are.

This number called me this afternoon and said he was with the US Government and that I was eligible for a free grant of $8500. He had an Indian accent. I knew he was a scammer by the way he was speaking. He took pauses at weird times and did not seem to have an emotion in his tone of voice. I just let him finish what he was reading. He then asked if I would like to get the grant through my bank. As soon as I said no, he began cursing me telling me "You can go f!#& your father you idiot donkey!" I began telling him that I knew he was a scam, and as I was in the middle of saying scam, he hung up. I tried calling back a few minutes later and all I got was a busy tone.

They have called me 3 times a day for 4 days now.

He swore at me also.

No one gives away something for nothing. Especially the government.

I don't know who they are, because I don't know anyone in that area.

Received call from an Indian man stating I was chosen to receive a "one time in your life grant" from the US Government

IRS treasury dept. saying they wanted to give me $8,500.  Total scam.  Hang up on them or don't answer.

Some foreign sounding man calling from 202-657-6869 said I  was Selected for a Federal Grant of $8500 because I paid my taxes on time. Then he said to receive my grant money I need to tell him if I am a gay pride activist or I like watching pornography. I hung up.

Definitely a scam. Called three times in two days saying I had been awarded money based on my lack of criminal history and paying my taxes on time. Hung up when they asked for my bank account information.

It was a guy with a heavy accents at first he asked for a man named Arthur then I said he's got the wrong number and then he asked if he can f**k me and I said excuse me because I was shocked then he asked if he spend a night with me. So disgusting and I blocked him

Has called during my work hours numerous times

They calo me too and told me that i won some money from the goverment, and cal Back right Away to receive the money today, but nobody answers the phone.

This number keeps calling me saying that they work for the treasury depth and that won $8,500 from the government.
