Received call from this number this morning at 9:15 EDT.  I answered with "hello" but no one spoke on the other end.

I created a contact on my phone (called it "Lowlife") and whenever one of these calls comes in I check these "who's calling me" sites and if I see scam reports, I add the number to the Lowlife contact which is set to send calls directly to voicemail. They never leave a message so it solves my problem for that number. Then I just wait for the next one.

I just let them tell me their whole speil about how my computer has malware blah blah blah, and then I let them know I'm not a moron & hang up...its been 3 days in a row - I wonder how long it will take them to take me off their list

Idiots can't figure out it's answering machine picking up in spite of the message stating "we can't come to the phone".  Same thing each time, some guy saying "hello" repeatedly, then hanging up.  

Scam....do not answer...report them to Do Not Call

Got a call he said My computer was shooting error messages, he was not from US. I ask wich computer he said the one running Windows 7. I DONT HAVE WINDOWS 7

I got the call first on 4/22. The caller claimed he was partner of Microsoft support center and got a report from my desktop. he is trying to help me to fix the issue. I followed him to work on my PC until he asked me to install a remote control software. I stopped and told him I would do more research before doing anything. In the following days, I got 3+ calls from this number, and today, the number left voice message with "f***" words.

I might have fallen for it but due to his thick Indian accent ( no prejudice intended) I could only understand 1 out of 20 words. Told him my computer was in the shop for malware removal ( it is) which pretty much ended the chat. Next time, when you call from Alabama get you a sugary sweet good ole boy to pitch. ROFLMAO!

Missed call from this number

This number called me @ 10:30pm and no one was on the other end.  I tried calling the # back and I got a recording that 205-280-0212 was disconnected.  How is that possible when I just received a call from there?

Got a call today. Talking about how my "windows computer " was sending these dummys warning messages .. For one if your gonna scam people don't have them saying hello 100 million times . His name was Sam lol. I asked him what my name is and he hung up.! Haha gotta love it.

My computer is a Mac, not Windows, so when he called, saying he was "Windows Service". I thought I'd have a laugh. I asked if he wanted to wash my windows. No, he didn't repair windows, he was "Windows Service". I said my windows were leaking cold air. It went on like that for a while, until I told him the call was total nonsense, and he replied, "I want to f____ you!". Whereupon I hung up. That number called back immediately.

Telemarketer? Prank Call? Harassing phone call? Phishing attempt? Scam!

Why isn't "Scam" one of the "Call Type" options?

Called speaking English very badly and reading a script that my computer downloaded some file
and now has problems (which happened to be true).  And wanted me to turn on my computer so
he could show me how to fix it.
I was driving at the time so there was no way that was going to happen.
He wanted to know when I'd be home so he could call me again. Uh, no.
Besides I'd heard this was something besides what they said it is. LIke they'll take all the info
off my computer, or download something worse if they got access.
Location shows as CLANTON ALABAMA. And just called me again and I sent it right to voicemail.

They're calling Australian numbers too.  Some kind of automated multiple calling because when you pick up, there's 'no-one' there.  Guess the scam starts if they get a call answered and one of them is free to attend to it.  Creeps!

They scanned me before and tryied scanning me again,

Called a few days back and said, "This is Steve from MicroSoft." I responded, "That's impossible. I AM Steve from MicroSoft." He actually argued with me. It was great. I held him up for 10 minutes debating just who was Steve from MicroSoft.

Me, too.  I have a very sick Mom and getting these constant phone calls is scary as all hell. Today they called at 8:00 a.m. and again at 10:00 p.m.  I don't know what to do to stop them and it's driving me crazy.

this number called my work (a dental office) asking about computers, I told him he would have to speak with the Doctor who is the owner of the practice. He sounded surprised to hear it was a dental office then went about running me in circles to make ab ogus appointment like he thought it was funny. I called the number that was on the caller ID back after he did not showfor his "appointment" and it says the number was disconnected!

This number has called me over 20 times and they will not leave a message.
