Receive multiple calls a day. Sometimes a message is left to lower credit cards, other times caller hangs up when answering machine answers.

Received a missed call from this number and then when I called back, there was a message that the number had been disconnected.

Called and said I won a vacation package. I hope that Bob finds their address.

Called me on 1/6/12, did not pick up.

Now that I have close to 30 phone#'s blocked, I wonder how these scams actually work.  Is it only one a$$hole with a phone bank or is my phone# being handed down from one scammer to the next?  Aren't there any ex-scammers who came to their senses out there who are willing to share their knowledge?  I'm just curious...

My GUESS is that it's GE Capital.  They have been harassing us for weeks.  Their voice mail messages are automated and say to call a phone number or visit a website to get the calls to stop.  This phone number didn't leave a message.  They've called from several different numbers, and change it up, probably so we don't know it's really them.  Sad.  No clue why they are calling as they don't identify the reason.  Once we saw GE Capital on their caller ID which is how we know it's them.  And by others who report on whocallsme.com.

They called 3 times at 2 am and left no message

Received a call from this unrecognized number. It's a scam company that has called me 6x in the past 24 hours.

got a call on my cell phone from this number i got scammed out of hundred dollars from someone in settle washington for loan scam i thought it was real company i dont trust nobody  you approved for a loan youll never see your money again or your loan and when they got my one fifty dollars i did nothear  from them again they stold my money and ran with it so would say dont every one who calls you i wish shouldnt have you fool me once you fooledme youllnevergetme get me twice it shame that you cant be unist with people that dontwant tobe scammed by other people that is wrong what has the world come to were cant trust anyone any more

got a call form this number today. pretending to be local fire department. try to collect money as a fundraiser. somehow knew my address and how much i gave last year to the local fire department fundraiser. last year i double checked with local FD prior to giving money - at least the number was a local number. Today the number was also from Washington State. When I questioned it, they just played ignorant. Police report being filed as I type.

Received a call from this number on March 2nd at 5pm eastern.  Didn't leave a message, my caller id showed it was from Washington.  Given all the complaints I've read, I don't understand why this obviously phony individual(s) or scammer's can't be blocked?

Received call two days ago at 11:30am.  No message left.

I called that number & I got a busy signal. What is the persons name and what do they want with me? That is what I want to know. The number is 1-206-337-7381.

got a couple calls from this number today. STOP CALLING ME!!! not interested in whatever BS your trying to sell me!

Got this call and it was something like: "Hi, I'm Paul, um, we haven't met, but I got your contact information from your website, and, uh, I think I have some interesting ideas that could work for you. I could tell from your website you are interested in networking..." I cut in and said, Excuse me, I don't have any website that has any contact information. Then he started the same message - computer generated I suppose. It sounded like a real person talking, but the 2nd verse was as same as the first, so I hung up. Very weird.

Got a missed call and then connected with someone with a heavy Indian accent from this number today.  Claimed to be from a computer service company.

The call was for my wife, I ask to take a message as  I am on the no call call and they hung up.
